Nice clean hotel within walking distance to convention center, wwii Museum, buses, streetcar stations. We walked to French Quarter and it was a nice 10 ~ 15 min walk. Our room had a king bed, sofa and desk area, kitchen area w/small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a sink. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. Our room was on 4th floor with courtyard view. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, sausages, toasts, waffles, muffins, coffee, juice and other things for cereals. The s.
所有评语 » Hotel is really updated!! Our room was really nice, plenty of room, very comfortable, enjoyed the stay. The one thing i will say i really like was the TV. If you was in bed you can turn the tv towards the bed, if you was on the couch you can turn the tv towards the couch. I love It!!. It was convenient and the places we needed to be were either within walking distance or easily accessible by streetcar. Hot breakfast was included in our rate..big plus! Room was very clean and nicely designed and furnished. We even had a microwave and mini fridge. I loved my stay at Springhill Suites. It was convenient to all the restaurants in the city of New Orleans. They have friendly service and the hotel was very clean. I also like that breakfast is included which made it worth the price. I was only there from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. We were spending the night to be boarding the cruise ship the next morning. Really didn't spend much time there but it fit our budget and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The staff was awesome!!! The parking garage was full on our arrival so the front desk clerk moved her car and gave us her parking spot! All of the staff were very friendly and constantly smiling!! We will stay here again!. Can't think of anything i didn't like. The coffee was the low point of the breakfast offering. Also, when we booked we knew we had to pay to park onsite and were quoted a $20 per day rate. When we checked in, we were told it had "gone up" to $25. The first night we parked we barely eeked out a space. No complaints!. I didn't have any unpleasant experiences. The mattress was too soft for me. The location was ok, bit far from the main action but taxi's are cheap. Parking was expensive. The pool was suppose to be heated but wasn't either broken or something... It was COLD.... It would also be nice to change the breakfast sausage to bacon every other day. Can't think of a thing we didn't like. I wish the blankets were thicker. There are two bars across the street that get pretty noisy at night. We easily slept through it, but that may be an issue for some. Our room was not as clean this time. They never swept the floors in the 5 days we were there. The orange juice at breakfast is watery--needs more orange. Nothing. Parking. cold bathroom floors. The only complaint would be the lack of available parking in the area but that goes with being in New Orleans. The club/bars on one side of hotel. The amount quoted to park (self parking) was $20 but they charged 22.65 plus tax Were told by hotel that the paddle wheel boat was 20 each and called and made reservations for us...when we got there it was almost double and they were very nasty about it so we did not go on it. Felt it was bait and switch. The area was not close to anything...ended up taking cabs The rooms were so small you could hardly get around the bed ... Would have been better to have one big room than two tiny ones. the bathroom area needs updating. No restaurant. Also, my friend felt bad and the staff was helpless... For the price of the room it could have had better and more coffee making items/perhaps cookies. Breakfast should remain open at least till 9:30-10:00 am . We were on holidays and like to take it easy. The staff didn't know enough about how to get around, where to go, or where things were located in the city. there was no plug next to the bed to charge my cell phone. Sofa bed. My bathroom sink was full of water when I checked in, but it slowly went out. You couldn't turn the water on high or it would just sit in the sink for a while. Not enough room to park. Did not have enough parking space. we were not informed about change of breakfast hours for monday. Being told that the price for parking was $25 pn when the hotel themselves had told letsbookhotel.com of the increase but letsbookhotel.com did not pass on this info on to its customers. late evening pool cleaning on the 2nd night of my stay (at least I believe that was the loud machine that was running just outside my window at 10 PM on a Monday evening). Nothing. late check in. That they couldn't except my card.
