Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Attendant was waiting for us to arrive and check took under one minute and we were on our way to our rooms. The location is perfect , mcDonalds was next door and open early for breakfast and coffee. Other resturant next door was not yet open for the season but this too has breakfast. Only one of very few pet friendly hotels in area. Room also has microwave and fridge and a wonderful large screen TV with a large list of channels available. Hotel.
所有评语 » The Motel 6 Lake George is right in the center of town and you can easily walk to anywhere in the village. We never had to worry about parking. The facilities were clean, simple, and had everything we needed. It is also pet friendly so it was perfect for our small dog. It's was not the cheapest hotel in town, but definitely wasn't the most expensive and was definitely worth the little bit more that you pay. Dollar for dollar the Motel 6 Lake George meet all of our expectations and I would easil. I liked the modern design of the room, and the fact that there was no carpet. I also liked that the motel was pet friendly. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect. And the price was right. Perfect place for our purpose. We wanted to walk around and see the sights, but didn't want to pay a lot for a room. Place was very clean, comfortable, and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. I think he could sense I was a bit nervous traveling alone. I liked the updated look. I love how convient it was to shopping & the beach. Staff was very friendly. The location. Great coffee. The girl cleaning our room was great. Jim at the front desk was very helpful. It was a good location and the price was very good. It was cold out but the room was comfortable. Staff was very accomodating & location to all the attractions was fantastic. It was very close to shopping& we walked everywhere we wanted to go in town. Each unit has a porch with a chair in front. Lots of people outside. I loved that it was in walking distance to a lot of places. Easy to get to location. The location to downtown. Staff was friendly. Ask for hair dyer 5 minutes later we had one. 4 of us asked for an extra pillow mot one but four before we could blink our eyes we had them. I was not so crazy about decor but other than color choice everything was great, especially the price and location. Nothing. I liked everything about this place. I know price is based on demand. There was a big event in town and I paid more than the room was worth but I had no choice. It would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room too. The floors were a little dirty. But overall was a great stay. You did not provide shampoo. Bed sheets did not fit the beds. The clerk was in a cold office. they didnt have coffe makers in the room & no hot tubon site. Ice machine far away from my unit. Room simple at best: no coffee maker. I didn't like that there was no smoking. No rugs on the floors made for cold feet. beds were uncomfortable. The bed was too hard and pillows were too soft. Other than that everything was great. The room is tiny, the toilet is located in two meters, literally. Very noisy air conditioner. Would have liked to have had a hair dryer in room. I Had to go buy one. Coffee in room would have been nice too. Vinyl floor, but pet friendly I guess. Phone didnt work and they knew it when we signed in. And they never told us. No pillow case on ons pillow. We didnt see it until we were leaving. Dirty cups left outside near door from day we got there until day we left. no coffee or tea maker. the bed was to hard :(. Wi fi not working in the room we have to go outside. Floors were not carpeted. No dressers in the room or closets. We asked for space for 3 adults and 2 children the room was small we had to asked for bigger room...they offered us, for 30 dollars a night a room (seperated by a door) with one queen bed and a king bed. We had a bad experience at the door this client left saying their were coqueroches, I assured my dautgher of the contrary. Floors were done in interlocking laminate pieces made to look like wood planking. Floors were swept every day, but would have preferred to have them damp mopped, as bottom of feet seemed to get dirty or gritty each evening. Foul smell coming from the sink drains.The parking was not really pleasant . Little side road to get in and out. Only 1 mirror in bathroom, didn't see any workers or manager all 3 days I was there. Room was not cleaned by maid service, Glad me and my daughter picked up after ourselves. no shampoo, conditioner or lotion. as I said , basic. There wasn't rug on the floor in the room. Didn't feel comfortable walking around barefoot. Room was to small, looked cold and lifeless. No furniture either!. Room was VERY small. The sink in my last room didn't work , had to use the tub !. it was under construction. Mildew in bathroom Insects in lamps Smell bad Got the queen bed while reserving King Poor wi-fi signal No facial tissues No hairdryer Looked better on pictures. Very Basic Motel, although we were only there for an overnight stay. The season only stretches from May to September,and had we been in lake George for longer, our choice of accommodation would have been chosen more carefully. bathroom by toilet dirty and leaking water. no tissue i have to bought my own, and towels and wash cloth is not that clean, and place to hang clothing. There was construction that day which was noisy. The heating system was so loud we could not sleep. The contour sheet did not fit the bed, the bed was uncomfortable and we were cold during the night(no blankets). We ended up renting another motel for the next night. Lot of noise late at night as well as the room being significantly too small. Room wasn't really updated and the shower was not real clean. Cleaning staff must be blind. Big stains on bed covers, bathroom floor was muddy and beds were hard as rock. Management didn't take care of noisy people in next room after 2 complaints between midnight and 4am. room no telephone service room to small. Housekeeping man started knocking on the door at 9am. There was no one else on my floor. I told him twice and wrote a more stating that we needed more wash clothes. Each time he didn'T. Over all everthing was good there is a restrauant / nightclub next door. You faintly heard the music but the late night people getting in can forget about others and be a little loud. Not the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. Bed spread full of very noticable stains, several light bulbs out. We asked for a different spread Both were reported with no response. Room was small and crowded. No pool. Too small rooms, inefficient facilities , needs carpet, tissue.
