  This Inn stands out because of the genial hosts, comfortable room, beautiful view of the harbor, and its location to the things we wanted to see and do in Gloucester. The host was unbelievably obliging, friendly, and always concerned with our comfort. The host threw a barbecue for some of his family and friends and invited us to participate. What's better than burgers and lobster rolls for 4th of July. We had ring-side seats for an amazing fireworks display and laser light show.

  We loved the view from our balcony and the general relaxed atmosphere of Bass Rocks. The continental breakfast which was provided each morning was more than adequate. We loved the Starbucks coffee! The pool was very clean and enjoyable and the continental breakfast was pentiful with many satisfying choices. We very much enjoyed our stay.   Castle Manor Inn is one if the most wonderful places I have ever stayed... The staff treated the guests like a family. The owners Don & Laura are such wonderful people. The Inn is the nicest we have stayed in, so clean with every amenity you could need. The restaurant right in the Inn is awesome. We had a medical emergen - Let us check in early by offering another room for same price! Very friendly staff. We called from our room to inquire about the hours of the restaurant in order to plan out our evening and later on received a call to tell us they may close on the early side and wanted to let us know! Food was good and had a nice selection on the menu. Room was very very pretty! Location was easy to get to and not far from the waterfront.
