  From the outside, this doesn't look like a place for an older single woman to stay, but I've stayed at other hotels in Ft. Stockton and been kept awake by people coming and going, partying, and by a/c units that cycle on and off so loudly that I'm awakened every time. If the room doesn't sit you in the lap of luxury, it certainly was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. Best, the - The price was great and everything was clean, felt safe, etc. I'm glad I didn't stay in Midland like I had originally planned -- I couldn't find anything affordable that didn't look scary / filthy in the reviews. This one was exactly right for me coming out of the airport and giving me a stopping point on my way down to Big Bend at night. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful and answered the door promptly even though I checked out late at night and left early in the morning!
