  Convenience. To the Ocean, Pool; shopping etc. ' Kitchen was OK. Very noisy when on the first floor. The people upstairs were very heavy footed. Next time would prefer the second floor although the suite loaction was great. - We loved sitting by the pool in the evening having a drink, it was so peaceful.

  The hotel was spotless clean. The rooms had everything that you could need and more. Two blocks from the beach. Beach towels provided by the owner. We stayed here prior to our cruise and after and we are going to stay here hopefully for longer next year. The owner is very friendly. It's a real little gem of a place and very well run.   This old hotel has received quite a contemporary makeover. The rooms are relatively clean, and furnished with simple, yet attractive selections. The bathroom while still complete with it's archaic fixtures, are all refreshed with new coatings to make them appear as they once did in their heyday. Sure you may find a little oxidation on the sinks or metal hardware in the bathroom, but that's expected in a sandy, tropical location that exposed to the salty ocean air.
