We are on a strict budget and needed a place that felt as close to home as possible. We checked in at National 9 Inn and stayed more days than we initially had planned to. Staff was very kind to us. Rooms were very clean. Any concerns were dealt with so much care and deligence by the manager. They also have a pool that is open for the summer days. Mesa Verde was only a few minutes away, and the motel is on the downtown strip of cortez so walking distance to most places.
所有评语 » Very clean big rooms. Front desk was extremely helpful & made me feel safe as I was traveling alone and extremely accomodating to all my requests. Walking distance to downtown & very close to Mesa Verde. Small breakfast with such an affordalble price was great. Restaurant next door to the motel was delicious! I will come back and stay with national 9 Inn again. When washing machine broke down in laundry the manager did our laundry in his own machine. That's helpful! This once was a proud motel - years ago. It's a good place to get a needed rest - but don't expect frills. Just basic good bed and with your eyes closed it looks like the fancy ones. Bob at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. Room was big and well-appointed. Bathroom area was very private and separated from rest of room. very friendly staff and I felt completely safe at this motel since I had booked a smoking room the nice man said we could smoke in the room. position, the staff was friendly and ready to meet our requests, the breackfast is enought ... you get what you pay for. The Queen room I stayed in was awesome. I will be staying in that same room again. Friendly staff, location on main street, good breakfast for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the price. The size of the room was nice The room had a fridge and microwave. Laundry facilities on site. Very good place to rest if you are passing by colorado or visiting Durango. Close to Mesa Verde National Park. Had refrigerator and microwave. Adequate size room, king size bed, tv reception. The room and bathroom were clean. The roof didn't leak. Rooms were large; the location was good. location--easy to walk to places. Beds were comfortable. Nothing but location. Manager was friendly. Room was clean. It was in the town we needed to be in. Man at the front desk was friendly. Nothing. Filthy. Nothing. Limited breakfast . . . Some stains on the furniture seemingly from regular wear and tear, but considering the price this was a very minor thing. when I booked it had a separate room with tv in it kind of like a suite but it was not I asked for smoking and got a non smoking room. the parking is very little but there is room for everybody. Very dated property, but very clean. The continental breakfast could have included more items. A bit run down. Carpet was either very dirty or very badly stained. Room appeared very old and worn. Room door was worn out, had gaps around it, did not lock automatically, locked with difficulty. The pool was dirty. Breakfast was just okay but the cuttlery and boxes used were dirty. The room needed painting and replastering. the parking area was extremely cramped. The breakfast was very poor, just stale bagels and do it yourself toast. The room was dirty and smelled bad; the coffee was undrinkable; and the swimming pool was out of order---no water in it. Never had any maid service. Asked front desk person to send maid to at least make the bed and it was never done. Disrepair,poor security, said that stay included restaurant breakfast which it did not. No hot water no security. Hotel is old en needs refurbishing. Motel is old and run down looking. Crack and pealing paint inside and out. Old smells (not good ones). No parking for oversize or large vehicles. Old, worn out air conditioner, make a lot of noise when running. Very hard to sleep!. It was very bad, dirty, falling apart, scary place. The property is too rundown. I always stay on the cheap, so I hate to make a mean review. I just would not be able to bring myself to stay here again. It is too old, and too run down. On the other hand I did not see any evidence of any bugs. Hot water not hot , on timer would turn to ice cold. Bring shower shoes at all times. Carpet nasty. Bed okay. Rooms were dirty. Blood stains and cigarette burns in the mattress. There was soda spilled all over the table. Someone's hair was all over the room. There was rat poop or bed bugs all over the bed. The manager was rude and refused to return our money after being informed on the condition of the rooms. The place is really running down... I read it in other comments and now I trully believe them... I was for 3 weeks in usa and this place is in the bottom... I don't recommend it...
