My husband and i went to St. Regis for his bday and we took our little daughter with us. We enjoyed every minute of the stay. There was not a single flaw in the service. The butler service was great. the beach was spotless. The staff were extremely friendly. And ofcourse the food was really good. We would definitely go back there. The hotel is very large and well planned with well appointed rooms. It was an enjoyable experience and worth the 5 star rating. Staff were attentive and eager to please (possibly due to it being Ramadan and very quiet). Very little to complain about - we had a junior suite of 85 sq m and this was ideal for the three of us.

I loved everything about the hotel. they do give you the royal treatment infact, from the moment you check in til the moment you check out. was one of the best hotels ive stayed in. Property is luxuriously appointed, brand spanking new, and brilliantly laid out. Most food was fantastic. All drinks were fantastic. Pool areas and pool area staff outstanding. The staff was beyond exceptional. Location is perfect. Close enough to the city that you can drive there in 5minutes. Far enough to feel like you're not in the Middle East. The hotel is simply amazing. The design, staff, rooms, facilities, everything about it was good. Just make sure you get a sea-facing room because its totally worh it. This is my second stay at the hotel. I even liked more than the first time. It's very elegant and classy. Nice for few days relaxation I would go again. The swimming pool options that were designed to the needs of diffrent age groups Well trained and customer oriented staff attitude all over the hotel. Loved the room and especially the bathoom. The pool areas were fantastic Lovely big unspoilt beach Excellent Thai restaurant charming butler service. Almost everything about the hotel is very good. Their Kids play area and pool is outstanding. Very well designed and thought out. Great location and great staff. We were well looked after and the general facilties are excellent. My daughter took some crisps from the mini bar and the hotel was going to charge AED 55 ($15.0)!!. I was shocked and refused to pay for something that normally costs AED 2.0 in the shops. The check out staff was in agreement and cancelled that part of the bill. The Butler service is really room service dressed up. I honestly think most travelers prefer to make their own coffee and tea as the coffee comes cold after a long trip from the kitchens. Early morning by the beach we got some insects that bites, wouldn't affect how happy we were Best regards to all the hotel staff, Mr&mrs SUHAIM. Things that people have complained are going wrong in terms of service are still, 12 months later, going wrong. Food is horrendously over-priced. Ultimately it is not good value for money - for this much money everything should just work. F&B ridiculously over priced. The butler service is good in concept, however it takes them time to respond to simple requests like getting hot water to feed my hungry toddler. I think they should just put a water boiler with tea/coffee in each room. Checking in at 3 at checking out at 12. I think this is every where but it's still not fair. Also it would be nicer if more info is given to the customers on the facilities and services upon checking in. Couldnt get internet in the room. Check in at 3pm (too late) especially since we arrived at 10:30am. The rooms, as great as they are, had an annoying lighting control system. Half the room's lights cam e on on their own twice in the middle of the night and I had to press 3 different switches before they turned off again! Also, the AC system control panel didn't work proprly. The fan was at high and was very noisy and I couldn't turn it to low!. Some feel good factors missing like tea/ coffee in the room. Toilet/ bath not cleaned well. Housekeeping is ordinary!. Sea food rest wasn't very good. A bit difficult finding our way around especially trying to find the restaurants from the higher floors via the lifts. actually the check out at 12 pm, if we r late that's time we receive lots of calls & notice paper under the door for checking out now, even lots of 5 stars hotel lets us late until 3 or 4 pm,. There's nothing. Brunch isn't as good as some of the others in Abu Dhabi. They did not inform me that my booking didnt include the breakfast and it was charged. I would appreciated passing this information at check-in. Elevators were slow and often not working. Nothing. I will defenitely go to this hotel every time I can. Service very poor Not enough for our kids to do Variety of kids food very limited. I thought that the quality of the food was not up to the standard of the hotel itself. they must have club car for internal tranportation. No DVD player Except for golf, not much to do on the Island. Check in process takes so long. Distance from sunbeds to the sea Beach set up. The ac was not working properly. It was noisy and hot. Childrens club was disappointing, toys weren't working, no batteries in them. Not enough choice. Lack of general shops and indoor entertainment. Abu Dhabi in August is too hot for spending time outside all day. The time it takes to get the extra funds back are annoying specially they take almost 1 night credit for every night you spend there. Weak WiFi in rooms. No beach activities of services apart from lifeguards. Very pricey food service. Adult pool area full of dirty towels, dirty glasses etc when we arrived. We had to request staff to clear a couple of sunbeds for us and get fresh towels. Food is average and quite expensive. Not kids oriented place. Arab Staff were rude & not professional. - at the seasons time there will be some waiting in check-in. F&B is very expensive for what is offered. I didnt like the service after leaving the hotel. I discover that my card has been blocked with amount and they deduct another amont for the room charge. I did get good assistant from the hotel I was in bad situation when I couldnt use the card in other hotel. The service was terrible. Especially the concierge who did not pick up the phone all day. We also had to wait 45 minuites for them to get our luggage to our car. There isn't a Place to walk and kids to play. Price. Food und Beverage Preise viel zu hoch! Weine kosten bis zum zehnfachen des Wertes im Ursprungsland!!! Frühstück teuerer als im Plaza New York!.
