my friends and i came to york for a couple of days there was supposed to be four of us but one pulled out so two were booked in your hotel i myself was booked into the travel lodge on arriving at premier inn we noticed that we could have all stayed in the one room but i went down to travel lodge and went to room i we were totaly dissgusted it was very dirty and truth be nown i wouldent put animals in the rooms soback up to your hotel where i was told i was more than welcomr to stay in the room w.
所有评语 » Close to the main train station and to one of the city gates giving access to the city walls. Easy walking distance to the sites of the old city. Effective air conditioning, which was necessary during the week we were visiting.Overall, a very comfortable, family friendly business type establishment, which we appreciated after enjoying many excellent b and B's throughout northern England. Provided you don't need to park, this is an ideal budget option for York city centre and within easy walking distance of the railway station. The room I had was in a very good state of repair, the bed comfortable, and I paid £72 with buffet breakfast included. First time at a Premier Inn and I was pleasantly surprised and will consider that option on future trips to other places. The hotel was very good, clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptional and made the overall stay was excellent. The location was prime to York City Center. The hotel facilities for children were great, The breakfast and evening meals we had were very tasty and very fresh. We will certainly be returning to this hotel in the very near future. This was our third trip to this Premier Inn, and yet again no complaints. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful, room spotless (though we ended up with a disabled room with low sink etc, which we knew about before as it was the only room available to book at the time, but it was fine) Breakfast superb. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in York. All the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Because of a mix up in our booking arrangements we had extra beds put up in our room and when we asked they were moved within minutes. The hotel is very handy for the railway station and centre of York and very easy to find. This hotel is located close to the railway station, just few minutes walk. The room was functional and quiet despite proximity of a busy street, with nice view. The restaurant served very good meals. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The staff were very friendly the Hotel was full and when we went for breakfast there was still plenty to eat . We waited 10 minutes at breakfast to be seated but was worth the wait. Premier breakfasts make a great start to the day. Staff are friendly and helpful. The lady on arrival was very helpful on reception. The double room was very spacious and extremely clean. The location was a 10 minute walk from the centre of York. The longboat restaurant is a great place for meals. The location is good, very convenient for a new comer to York, good bus connection and close to railway. The children eat breakfast free is an excellent values and my kids love it. No drop off point at front of hotel, and the car park is quite a long way round the back - it's also expensive : £9 for 24 hours, and that's with a discount. There was impossible to regulate the temperature in the room. It was necessary to ask the staff to change the temperature remotely. Unfortunately, the set temperature is not necessary the same as the real one, and few corrections can be needed to find the right setting. How to do this, when every time help of staff is necessary? I hope, the system can be changed. We had an 14yr old and 11yr old with us with no spare bedding for the pull out bed. Can't find anything to blame. N/A. No negative comments. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Since the is Premier Inn York (Blossom St North) and ... (...South), it is a bit confusing. There should be at least be a shared reservation database, as well as better signage. The wi-fi was very unstable. Nothing. Route from and to car park not ideal as have to go through coffee shop and 2 doors onto street and then into reception. Price was bit high but it was The Season. Area wasn't the nicest and felt uneasy leaving the car overnight in a public car park. The bedding could have done with a softener being used like for example lannor that smells fresh. Large extractor fans outside the window, especially as we'd requested a quiet room. Some road noise outside bedroom window. On arrival went to bar for a drink but no one behind it, so left after 5min wait and went to pub next door. Parking not available at the hotel. Nothing. Nothing (!). Nothing. car parking arrangements access to the hotel.
