It had a nice, large bathroom and everything was very clean. We felt it was reasonable priced and only a short walk from the train station and shops. They also has great suggestions for child-friendly places to eat and a wonderful location where we could walk wherever we wanted to go. Would definitely go back there if we travel to Windermere - I am a wheelchair user (complete paraplegic) and found the access to be excellent. I would go as far to say that Meadowcroft is probably one of the best places I've stayed for disabled room facilities. The option to book a disabled room from the website is a very good touch, I usually have to phone ahead to confirm that the room is appropriate for my needs and available, which this function eleviated, if only other sites/hotels did this. The room was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. T
