The room was lovely with a very large, comfortable bed. The toiletries were good quality, and we had a good supply of tea making facilities and biscuits. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice for our evening meal which was delicious.The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times and were keen to ensure we had all we needed and that we were happy with everything. Which we were.
所有评语 » The hotel was more like a 5 star and the staff so friendly, they all made us feel so welcome.The breakfasts on the terrace were lovely. We only ate out two nights out of 9 and the hotel food was far superior. Olga was an absolute treasure, she looked after us so well, I would recommend this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was VERY clean and VERY comfortable - in fact it was so comfortable I wish I could have taken the bed home - best nights sleep I have had in a while! Breakfast: SO much variety and very nice. Staff and service is amazing and could not do enough to ensure we were looked after. I left a book there and they have offered to post back. Decor lovely. Very clean hotel. Would def return. Spacious room and bathroom excellent, very clean, bed very comfy, appreciated feather pillows and neck support which I had requested. Good size quality bathrobes. Not far to walk to town. Staff were all excellent - very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Breakfasts were very well presented and were lovely. Excellent welcome one of the best I’ve experienced, very friendly staff who showed us round the hotel and helped with local knowledge and places to go. Excellent breakfast. my birthday was during our stay and the receptionist sang happy birthday to me. On returning to our room later that day a cake and card was waiting, excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food for breakfast and dinner, took special care about vegetarian meal, much appreciated. Staff were very, very helpful and a pleasure to meet. Bringing the dog was no problem at all and he was well looked after. Friendly efficient staff. First class service and prompt attention to requests. Excellent restaurant. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was lovely and clean and we had a sea view but it was quite small. If I was being really picky I would say the room was a little on the small side - but was definitely all a couple would need. Rooms a bit small. Noise from airconditioning unit very near our balcony. Requested fresh milk for room twice, didn't appear, likewise more tea bags on another occasion. Cooked breakfast sometimes arrived before finished eating fruit/cereal!. Room was a bit on the small side is only minor thing. Nothing. nothing. Not the cheapest of hotels but it was definitely worth the money. Nothing regarding hotel facilities. But car parking is very limited and insufficient. honestly found nothing to complain about. Many steps to and from the lifts, not disable friendly. Hotel parking very limited resulting in street parking. Allocated room looked on to a roof with cooler units and extractor hoods and no other view. Booking said "facing a quiet residential area" and was made 6 months ahead of arrival for a wedding weekend. Had to pay £45 per night for an upgrade. Leaving. the bathroom was a bit cramped for space. n/a. Group of blokes on a stag do. Climbing hills back from the sea front. Our room was extremely small, in fact the smallest room we have ever stayed in and we have travelled world wide!. classy restaurant was expensive, but did not taste that good. Slightly disorganised service at breakfast. Garish decor. Desk in the room too small. Bath towels were not big enough. The shower fittings were not the best in the world. room was a bit small No fridge in room. Quite expensive. I thought that the room was small and was not good value for money as this is one of the most expensive hotels in Guernsey. We stayed for a wedding reception and thought that the function rooms were dull and uninspiring in the basement of the hotel. A lot of time and money has been spent on refurbishing the hotel, but they have tried to fit a great deal into a space that is too small (eg the bathroom - the sink is small and there is a great deal of furniture and a very big bed so the room feels very cramped) also having spent all that money the doors to the room seem like they have been forgotten about. It was noisey on the Saturday night when there was a venue on, not so bad for us, but friends in a suite were right above it and could hear everything. The location was not too good either, it is not a problem with walking into town, but it is a steep climb back and normally involved a taxi for the return trip. The decor was a bit dated, the lounge had too much leopard skin print.
