  The hotel and staff were all outstanding. We were met by friendly front desk staff and shown to our rooms. The rooms are very well decorated and the beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Given the hot temperatures during our visit, the A/C was an added bonus.   The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Service in Carrie's Bar was very good too as was my meal.   We stopped as a halfway point to Bath. We were fortunate enough to have a disabled parking space, otherwise parking would have been a lottery.
