  The whole experience at The Hostel was great! the employees at the Hostel went out of their way to help you with any kind of problems and queries. You felt like you where more around friends than just an ordinary guest. The breakfast was useful and for 2 pounds very sufficient. The hostels atmosphere and areas where very spacious and made it easy... 别人怎么说 » to mingle and meet other traveler or just find a quiet corner to read a nice book. The showers and kitchen where among the better once I have seen in - The staff is great and stayed up late to be able to check me in even though it was past their reception hours, and she had a great and fun attitude even though I had woken her up. The hostel wants to become the best hostel in Edinburgh and are open to critique which gave me the sense that I was a honored guest and I felt very welcome. A pretty good hostel.

  Smart at iQ, Edinburg was a very pleasant surprise for us. Perfectly located: less than 20 min walk to the castle and to the train station, bus stop for the airport right at the corner, restaurants and shops around. The room (studio) was quite big and all equipment you need if you want to prepare something in the house or if you need to wash somet... 别人怎么说 » hing etc. – like “at home”. A perfect location for someone who wants to visit and move all day and have a proper and comfortable place to sleep. The - The apartment complex itself is very secure. The bedroom was clean, bright and well set out given the limited space. The bathroom, whilst also small had everything you need and unlike many higher rated accommodation I've stayed in hot water was available at all times and at a constant temp. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to the many foreign visitors there for the festival.

  reception open 24/7 gave me complete flexibility in my arrival/departure times. Very easy to find from the train station. Elevator available (although it's soo slow). Free WiFi was very smooth (although only in the common area). Helpful staff, suggested me alternatives of transport and calling a cab for me. Comfy bed, love the comforter. Surprisingly the room is quite sound-proof from the noise from the street. Nice bathroom with handheld shower! Free map provided.

  I loved everything. With 9 people ranging from 11 to 78 yo, we booked two family rooms and one premium twin. Rooms were clean, furniture new -ish, bright, comfortable. Loved how toilet, shower and sink were all separated to maximize usage. Kitchen was the best: all stainless steel, clean, white dishes and utensils were plentiful.   It was a very small and cosy all girls hostel . There are only about 18 beds and that made it very easy for people to meet each other. Kylie, the owner , is a very experienced backpacker and obviously knows exactly what it takes to make a perfect little hostel. Kylie is a such a great host which gives the whole place a really nice and friendly feel to it. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm which was very comfortable with a great bed so it was easy to get a good nights sleep there! The smell of the home made bread cooking in the morning is also a great treat!
