  Andrew and his staff were excellent. Nothing was too much bother. The food was also excellent especially breakfast. Their recommendation for eating out was superb on the night they did not do food. The bar and public rooms were of a high standard with comfortable seating. Many games were provided for guests to play in the evening.   This hotel looks down over the town of Portree on the Isle of Skye and is only two blocks from city centre shopping and restaurants. The guest house is beautifully renovated. The bed was so comfy. The accomodations were a little over our budget, but well worth it. - We found the Marmalade hotel perfect for our short trip to Portree. We are a family with children aged 9 and 10 and the family room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and the breakfasts lovely. The hotel is a small walk out of the town of Portree and has lovely views. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back!
