The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room, fantastic view and amazing food - if you stay there you have to eat in, you won't find better food anywhere.

Central heating not working in room - beilieved to be a temporary problem.
A bit faded. needs some renovation. Bar area, dining room conservatory and garden area ok. food not up to the standard the menu suggested.
One room was adequate although shower hose broken and controls difficultto operate. The other room was of a very poor standard, antiquatedbathroom and dreadful smell in the room which eventually the nextmorning, after being awake most of the night due to dry throat etc, wediscovered was from a plugin air freshner behind the bedside cabinet. Wewouldn't stay in this hotel again.
Piped radio in dining room, poor quality bathroom, shabby curtains, no attention to detail and over priced.
Being woken up at 8.15 by builders, someone else's clothing left in the wardrobe, did ask 3 times for it to be removed, dirty towel, dirty bathroom, Very uncomfortable bed, poor service.
