  Obviously a very popular pub/restaurant judging by the numbers there. The staff were all friendly & efficient. We ate in on the first evening of our stay & initially thought the menu looked a bit "nouvelle". We were very pleasantly surprised. As well as excellent presentation there was also plenty of tasty food on the plate so: best of bo... 别人怎么说 » th worlds. We ate out the second night; just for a change of scenery; & wished we had eaten in again! Room comfortable & clean. - The room was lovely, food was amazing, all staff were helpful and friendly. They are also pet friendly which was perfect as we had our two dogs with us and they were allowed in the bar area and there was good seating and service outside which also meant we could take advantage of the weather. Also lots of free parking and wi-fi. Overall very happy with our stay.

  Friendly, cheerful, helpful staff; tasty evening meal; quiet room, comfortable bed, good shower; lavish breakfast with splendidly strong coffee. A very enjoyable stay. - Staff were excellent. Menu was good and the food excellent. Will stay again if in the area. Room was adequate for my needs. Tea and coffee making facilities included.
