The staff were amazing.They enquired about our comfort/happiness at every opportunity,provided an ironing board and iron with smiles and willingly gave us an emergency safety pin for my daughters blouse( she was in Salford for a university interview) They even wished her luck on the way out.Jim even asked how we were when we were next door having dinner!. I enjoyed the hoyel the staff are very friendly and on the ball when asked for help of directions we were greeted with smiles and helloes on our arrival. The staff are very clear and consice. It was a very good experiance.

Spacious clean room. Friendly staff, happy to help. Good location for Lowry (place visiting) and easy access into Manchester city center if required. its position allow us to get into Manchest on the tram system at low cost and we do not have to travel into the centre. lots of eating places as well. proximity to shops/conference venue/restaurants etc was excellent and the view from waterside rooms was lovely. breakfast was also very good. Friendly and helpful staff at hotel reception and in restaurant and bar. Conveniently close (walking distance) to Lowry Theatre. a very good guality hotel with pleasent staff and very comfortable room clean bathroom ticks allmost all the boxes. Great decor, excellent cleanliness, really comfy beds, excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff. The location is perfect for theatre visit and shopping,rooms are clean and staff are very helpful. the staff were very helpful when we arrived late after breaking down. Nice clean room, comfy bed. The accommodation and location were great. The continental breakfast was good value for money. The view, value for money regarding the breakfast, we likes everything and have no negatives. The hotel was situated next to the canal with a nice Beefeater next door. Old Trafford football ground, Lowry and Media City were close proximity along with near to Trafford Centre and tram access to the city centre. Easy check-in, good parking, welcoming staff. Offered replacement room when mentioned the noisy air-con, turned down due to having unpacked and settled (was very tired). location and cleanliness. Location. Location. The room size. Location. I found the bed to low and would have prefered that we had twin deds but on saying that I had no problem with the comfort of the bed itself. having to pay on arrival. internet now free 30minz per day. signal good but very unreliable connection thru provider - i'd have been vry unhappy if i had paid. beefeater next door part of hotel & has same wifi deal so good when all works. No air conditioning...provided with a fan however this was virtually useless. Bed base was quite flimsy when you turned over it was rocking / moving. very little tea / coffee in room on arrival had to ask staff for more (staff happy to provide). It was a bit cold in Manchester, but that is all. We enjoyed our stay. i could hear the person next door snoring very clearly, felt like the walls were very thin. price too high. Nothing. Problem with noise from other guests in rooms on our floor trying to get into each others rooms ,banging on doors after midnight. the electric socket hadn't been replaced so the vending machine wasn't working. The tele isn't opposite the bed, you watch it on an angle. The beefeater next door take too long cooking your cooked part of the breakfast, it should be already cooked and self service. We had to cancel ours as we didn't have time as they were so slow at cooking it. We didn't ask for our money back. I thought the room was expensive, bearing in mind that breakfast is not included. Nothing. Noise in above room from other guests!!. No air conditioning in room and with two adults and two teenagers a small window in not sufficient enough.. :(. There was only one chair for two people, and it was not very comfortable for sitting for any length of time. The heat control seemed to have a mind of its own and was not easy to work. A little pricey!. Appearance of entrance. Slow response of heating system. Window was small. Room was rather hot for an October day. breakfast spoiled by badly underbaked croissants. Dirty towels had been left in the bath and we could have done with one or maybe two comfortable chairs as there was masses of space for them. The noise from upstairs. i was running the marathon and the people woke me up several times. When we arrived we had not been allocated a normal double room, as requested We were put in a disabled double room Everthing was at a lower height than normal.. freestanding air con units in bedroom were far too noisy to use. glad it wasn't too hot. Walls are a bit thin so could here person above moving around but it didn't spoil my nights sleep. I changed our booking and when we arrived were told the booking had been cancelled. It took 30 mins to sort out and a phone call to the letsbookhotel.com offices. Hence made us late for concert and couldn't have meal as planned. Heat!!! No air conditioning or window that opened. Air conditioning unit was very loud and was a portable one at one side of the building, didn't get much sleep . Waiting on a refund, if this issue was resolved we would return for the Salford keys swim next year. there wasn't enough tea/coffee facilities on arrival although when we asked we were supplied with plenty more. Room was hot and noisy from swimmers out side. Hot water ran slowly. Room was not cleaned following first night at the hotel. When queried was informed that they only worked until modday despite my partner and I long having left the hotel prior to this! Lumpy pillows causing stiff neck and a poor night sleep and low bed causing back pain. Placed in a disabled room for no reason!. The windows sealed up and a very noisy free-standing air con blasting away. Without it the room was warm - but quiet. water in the shower a little poor flow. Room was 30 degrees all night and it was impossible to get cool even with 3 fans and we got hardly any sleep. Resorted at one point to covering back with a damp towel. Too Pricey for the standard of hotel. Bathroom was a bit smelly, probably from the drains, water pressure was pathetic. No air con, very, very hot int he room, fan provided but not, really effective. The lack of staff. I was waiting at reception for 15 minutes to check in. There was another person on reception sat at a computer ignoring the queue of customers. I asked for an ironing board and it was broken. I paid £79, I have stayed at much better places for a lot less. I expected much better service. Small bed, noise from upstairs you could hear footsteps all night ie no good night sleeps. We booked a double room for 2 people but were only booked in for 1 when we arrived at the Hotel. This meant they wanted us to pay for an extra person at Breakfast. Service in the Beefeater restaurant where you are forced to hav breakfast is terrible.
