  The staff were so so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, the food was delicious and the whole atmosphere of the place was lovely ad relaxing and the setting was beautiful - Peaceful stay in pleasant and quiet surroundings. The room was very nice and I will definately stay again when I'm in the area.

  Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful . My wife is disabled and the disabled room we booked was superb , lovely and warm on arrival with fabulous decor . The bar/restaurant is very homely and olde worlde . Breakfast was freshly cooked and was fantastic - could not eat it all .We had a bar meal in the evening , again excellent and good value ... 别人怎么说 » for money . Nicely placed for touring around , would definitely stay here again . - We liked the cleanliness, décor and comfort of the accommodation, the friendliness of the staff and both the quality and quantity of the meals for the price paid which was excellent value. Everything was so perfect, we opted to stay an extra night. Highly recommended, especially if visiting Castle Howard and the surrounding area.

  Everything, it was our first wedding anniversary and we wanted to have our dog with us, a 10 week old lab puppy and the Talbot welcomed dogs. Checking in was easy, our room wonderful, the hotel plumbing to die for and to top it all, when we got to our room they had even catered for Molly. A comfy dog bed, a bowl for water and a bowl of biscuits! ... 别人怎么说 » We had dinner which was superb and I honestly can not find any faults with the place and it was worth every penny. If I ever get to visit again I wil - The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure we had everything and were happy throughout our stay. The room was lovely, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The dinner there I think was one of the best meals I've ever had! Amazing food I had beef and it was lovely and my partner had lamb and he said he could have eaten 2 of them it was so good. The breakfast was lovely too. Overall extremely pleased with our stay at the talbot and would 100% stay there again.
