There was cattle in the room that we liked so much and Wi - fantastic stay, great location, friendly and helpful staff. Once you arrive at the hotel you don't need a car, its next to the DLR, which some would say is a disadvantage but there was no sound, in fact we had 2 very peaceful nights. The Brewers fayre was very busy, but the staff were very polite and friendly, the food was great, very efficient, we will be back

  The location was ideal, just a short walk to lambeth north and straight onto bakerloo line. You could get to the london eye in about 12 minutes. I was booked into a 15 bed dorm but was put in a 6 bed female so that was a bonus as a single traveller staying for 4 nts. If you wernt quivk - I liked all, all the Hostel was perfect, the staff were pleasant and they resolved all my doubts, and all, because i had a small problem with the plug and they were very attent to give me a solution. The ubication of the hostel is perfect, only 10 or 15 min to Weistminster, and very close from the Lambeth North underground. The hostel was absolutly clean and is a very good place to meet people from different countries. I recommend this hostel, is very nice

  I liked that it was always clean everywhere and that the staff were always so nice and helpfull. I also liked that the hotel was open 24/7 so you didn't have to worry about getting back there too late. All in all I'm very happy with my stay there and I'd recommend The Generator to anyone going to London - The bar in the hostel is awesome. The general atmosphere of the place is great - definitely the way to go if you want to meet other young people and have a damn good time. Drinks prices in the bar weren't too bad - £2.20 on all drinks (except doubles!) and the kareoke was fun. Staff were very friendly too.

It was so easy to walk to and from the tube, and it was across the street from a very nice market for food and other supplies, and just up the street was a lovely community church which we attended and was warmly welcomed. I stayed across the street from the main building which I suspect may be slightly more modern. Pleasant enough staff. The location was ideal for me, on a quiet side street and a 10 minute walk to emmirates stadium. Biggest positive was the guranteed parking for £5 extra.

  Friendly staff, my wife and I enjoyed our stay. This was under £100 to stay on Sunday night, so good value. I don't know whether it would be the same value for standard rate (sometime twice as much). Hotel rooms were of adequate size and very clean. Street and neighborhood are safe and quiet, yet within 10 minutes walk of three tube stations, Kings Cross, Euston Square, and Russell Square. Rooms may be small, and stairs narrow, but you can't beat the charm of this historic building and neighborhood. Hearty buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. Would definitely stay here again.
