My partner and I recently stayed 6 nights at One Leicester Street while in London. We loved everything about it. You could not be more centrally located - it is right in the soho/chinatown area and a very close walk to most of the West End. It is also very conveniently located on 2 tube lines, including one directly from Heathrow. The hotel was lovely in every regard - The room was spacious, modern, clean, the bed was very comfortable, a relaxing bath. Even the toiletries and mini bar were well.
所有评语 » We booked this hotel for our wedding night and arrived quite late to find the lift broken. My (new) wife is pregnant and the staff were wonderful. They were really concerned, carried our bags up, upgraded us to another room on a lower floor so that we had less stairs to climb and gave us a discount on food and drink. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and by their own initiative the staff gave us detailed information about the suitability of menu items for pregnant women and how they coul. Fantastic location right in the middle of Leicester square and off china town, friendlyand quick service at reception, they had our request for early check in which was a bonus, rooms comfortable with everything needed for a perfect stay really quiet, ample space and didn't mind the quirky bathroom next to bed, dressing gown and slippers a luxury and great flat screen tv with iPod docking station. Breakfast was served in the chic restaurant nicely cooked and excellent friendly service, would fu. Great location! That was my main reason to choose this hotel as the w next door was fully booked. The staff are the highlight of my stay; super friendly and attentive. Fast internet connection unlike the reviews I read on here. The mattress is very comfy. I had a separate bathroom (Superior room). Don't know how I'd feel about a bathtub next to my bed. The rooms were immaculate and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. It was a great location for our visit which was the west end to see Thriller Live,It was also central to everything so our weekend visit also took in many of the sights. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return. Male receptionist very friendly and welcoming. Good location about 5 minutes walk from Leicester Square tube station. Few minutes walk to the Shaftesbury Rd theatres and restaurants. Large modern bathroom. Good quality hairdryer. Bathrobes and slippers. Lift available Free wi-fi. The room was very clean and modern. Loved that the bath/shower was in the room too. Great little pieces that made the stay on the room more comfortable. Ie docking station, safe, mini bar, air/heat con, and lovely big wrap around yourself bath robes. The hotel's location is excellent. It has been totally modernised' we used to stay here when it was Manzis! The toiletries were top quality. The staff were lovely and welcoming; especially the waiter who served us breakfast. No tea and coffee making facilities in room. I was given a disabled room at first; moved to a regular one next morning so make sure to ask when checking in. No tea kettle in the room which is weird. We're in England after all, but I wouldn't use it to be honest. Could be noisy especially the lower floors, so I recommend that they install double-glazed windows. Would I stay here again? Definitely! Provided I'd get a non-disabled room on the fifth floor. The entrance to the hotel was not obvious, there was no reception sign. Breakfast not included. Restaurant expensive No hospitality tray to make tea or coffee in the room. Hotel entrance is on Lisle St not Leicester St which is confusing. Noisy till 5am due to nearby pubs. Light pollution through venetian blinds. Rock hard bed. We were in a room with a tiny window that also looked out onto the fire eacape (felt a bit like Pretty Woman :-) and it didnt help that this room also backed onto the boiler so made the room extremely warm at night. We couldnt get the air con to work and had to open the window but the fans for the kitchens were switched on at 5am. Felt we were caught between the rock and hard place. :( One wee other thing. Wouldve loved tea n coffee facilities in the room. Complimentary tea/coffee tray in room would have been a bonus. Only stayed 2 nights!. Just a small point, we felt that having tea making facilities would have been the icing on the cake. Would have liked tea/coffee facilities in room. Lack of tea/coffee in rooms. Distance of mirror from wall socket for hair dryer. Lift not working. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would of been nice to have. Small work tables in the rooms. Showers. We had booked two superior rooms, one of them was a handicap room, which ment that he sink was uncomfortably low, the shower was directly on the floor etc. For non handicapped people and compared to the other room, this was not a superior room. This should qualify for a discount. The elevator was out. Nothing. There was a generator or similar outside the window so a constant humming noise but not the end of the world. Difficult to access by Taxi, No parking. Late check In 3pm. Bath in bedroom. Policy of taking £100 deposit against purchases at the hotel. I am still waiting for my balance to be refunded despite having chased it up. Slightly odd bedroom design. A bit noisy, but there where works on the street. Elevator always was going to work the next day, never did.. nothing. The noise outside. noisy neighborhood. 100 pound deposit that takes a week to get back ?. needs robe hooks in bathroom or closet. Never recieived the complimentary newspaper. a very loud 'air' unit right outside my window which hummed loudly the whole night!. air con vent outside our room was loud,. Noise from Airshaft outside room. reception area to dark. Lack of natural light No hot drink making facilities in room Noisy generator/fan. Lack of facilities... request for an additional £100 deposit upon arrival for mini bar! Baby cockroaches in bathroom. The hotel does not offer valuie for money. The room costed me GBP 250 and for that I got a room with bath and shower in the bedroom, hardly any furniture (not even a chair) and no curtains (only shades). An upgraded Travelodge!.
