We stayed at the loftus annex apartment for four persons, which is 20 mins away from the hotel. The apartment is fully equiped and is about half an hour away from the centre by tube. The closest tube is 5 mins walk away. I highly recommend it. The Dalmacia is an outstanding hotel, nicely situated.The Staff arelovely people and the rooms are clean and comfortable, I will definatlystay at this hotel again as I will be returning to the area shortly.

It is far from the hotel itself. The annex is an apartment quite far from the hotel, but close enough to a metro station to go walking. Shepherd's Bush Road is a busy road; if you sleep light, it may be a bit too noisy for you.It was my second stay there in 4 months and both times the internet didn't work as the connection was weak. It could have been a problem with my laptope settings but my laptop worked properly in other places. we were on the top floor -s o there were a lot of stairs!!. Somewhere could be mentioned, that people can get Dalmacia Hotel throug Hammersmith central station and then by 295, 72 or 220 bus and go out Blythe road bus stop. Because it is a convionient way how to get the hotel. the staff was not local so they could not help us a lot... but not any problems. It is more of a B and B not a hotel. the shower, it was difficult to get the right temperature. The pressure of the water in the shower was not satisfactory, and Sheperd's Bush Road is so busy, during the night,too, but that makes it a secure place, to live in. My room was at the front and Shepherd's Bush Road is so noisy! The shower. At first I couldn't get the right temperature, then I had no cold water at all.quite noisy traffic on a night. Ventilation could be better.Might be noisy at times (esp. rooms facing the street). The only thing bad I can say is the room was on the top floor with nolift so was a bit of a strugle if you are older.its a 12-14 mins walk from hammersmith tube station. The location is in London suburb and we take normally two metro trains to get to the main London tourism attractions (approximately 30 minutes trip).Not major, but the noise from the main road was slighlty disturbing. The price was probably a little high for this place but repeat the rooms and the linnen were clean. Hard to find sometmes no matter what the price!. The Apartment is a half a mile from the hotel. This was not at all clear when we booked which was disappointing because location was important to us. Very noisy as police cars with sirens were travelling up and down most of the night. As the police station was just down the road this was probably not surprising.The Bed. The location of the underground is 10 min walking. A fridge in room would have been good although they let us use the downstairs fridge. Adjustable heating - very hot in room.

Information about the area

Shepherd’s Bush is a lively and cosmopolitan West-Central London suburb.
It has a varied nightlife, restaurants and local ethnic shops, several open 24 hours a day. It is home to QPR (FC) and the New Westfield shopping centre (the largest enclosed shopping centre in Europe).

Bechtel, Coca Cola, EMI and L’Oreal have their headquarters in Hammersmith. Fulham FC, Olympia and Holland Park are within walking distance. The Lyric Theatre and Hammersmith Apollo are close by.

Travelling information

By Car
- Hammersmith is on the west side of London. We are in town, so the nearest motorway is the M4, just 5 miles to the west of London. It becomes the A4 and leads to the centre of London via Hammersmith.

- The M40 is to the north west of London, it becomes the A40. Take the White City or Shepherds Bush exit and follow the signs to Hammersmith. The first left turn from Shepherds Bush Green is Shepherds Bush road.

- From the north of London, follow the M1.
- Turn right where you join the A406, heading to Neasden and Hanger Lane, turn left for the A40. Or, if there is heavy traffic, follow the A406 through to Ealing and join the A4 at the Chiswick roundabout.

- From South London you can use either the M3 or the A3, both of which lead to the south circular A406, from where you should follow the signs to Putney or Fulham which lead to Hammersmith.
