  The reception staff were local people and were very helpful and courteous. the breakfast was also very good and was included in the room price. - cleanliness! it was my first time in a holiday inn and i will definately be using them again, staff were very friendly and helpfull

  We would recomend the hotel perhaps most for the food they serve it was an exellent service & has to be rated 10/10, The breakfast is exellent & included in the price. The meals served on the menu are well worth a try. The hotel is situated just off the A1 & easy reach to most of Newcasastle. A bus stop outside took us anywhere we wanted to go. The hotel itself was very good and I do not agree with the some of the reviews I have read. You must make sure ON ARRIVAL that reception staff know how much you have agreed to pay through letsbookhotel.com. Our bill would have been based on standard rates until corrected

  I was given a free up grade as it was my wedding night. The room I wasgiven was fantastic. My new wife and I were more than pleased with theway we were treat.   The food was good & value for money, the room was excellent with the shower taking top billing from both of us. All the staff were attentive to your needs & requests, nothing was to much trouble for them.
