Everything! Absolutely fab, cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Suite was a small appartment, we could happily have moved in. Thoughtful extras like take-away boxes at breakfast, shopping done for you if you wanted to self-cater, Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Also the location was perfect if a little bit of a ghost town, but it's very new and the office building opposite is yet to be fully occupied. It's on the edge of the Old Town but just off the main drag, and it was actually ve.
所有评语 » I loved the fact that everything was brand new, very clean and it also had a kitchenette (toaster, microwave, dishwasher etc). It is located in a nice area (new residential developments, offices) and just across the road is University of Edinburgh. It is 20 minutes away from the main tourist attractions (the Castle, Whiskey Museum, Princess Street). There is a parking near by (literally the building close to the hotel). The location is new and it’s not on the gps – you will be guided to an nhs . I stayed in this hotel with my mum and spent 5 days, we both find the hotel spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. It has everything we need and the kitchen's basic but it has all the essentials, could not fault it at all! It is in a nice area of the town and very convenient to the city center. I'm glad my mum was pleased as we've stayed in a couple of hotels before but this definitely has a more homey family feel to it. Good value for money too. Room is big enough for two person,have a comfortable sofa,clean the room every day.best thing is breakfast,you dont need hurry up finish it,because breakfast can open to10.30am,food have many choice,i think all people at here enjoy the breakfast time,they all have good taste.after breakfast,you can have a coffee time,like in the coffe bar.if you want drink outside,they are ready the cup,you can take away.i like here.will live next time. We loved two staff members very much. Duty Manager Bastion at the reception desk. He went above and beyond his role to be extra friendly, helpful, kind & generous, especially when I wasn't feeling well. Also Alicia the waitress deserves a very special mention for her friendly nature, her helpfulness and kindness to me when I wasn't well too. They were outstanding!. I booked a room for my husbands birthday and when arriving at the hotel was shown to a room which was not what I booked, upon enquiring I was told we had been upgraded to a suite with a balcony, we had a view of the castle. We were also given a bottle of wine to celebrate. Excellent staff and great stay, would love to come back again. Pretty much everything about this hotel was excellent, location, design, quality of furnishings in room. Clearly it was designed with stays of longer than two nights in mind, it is such a great location in the city but does not feel like it due to its proximity to the park. The area felt safe at all times. Location was very good. Very clean hotel,and staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast very good with lots of choice. We had an early flight so didn't have time to sit down to breakfast but was able to take food with us. We had a lovely time in Edinburgh. This is the second time we stayed here, because we loved it so much the first time. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and modern. The location ( walking distance from the main sights, but in a quiet and modern environment) and the rooms ( beautiful, tastefully decorated, clean and spacious). The lobby store that offers goodies at reasonable prices. The Malaysian restaurant nearby. Fantastic hotel, immaculately clean, room was huge, cumfy double bed, couldnt find a fault with the staff, hotel, or facilities!! got to be one of the best hotels iv ever stayed in. will deffo be using this hotel if we visit Edinburgh again. Hotel overall. Liked the idea of having a kitchenette, saved a fortune with not having to eat out each night. Especially helpful having the supermarket around the corner. Helpful staff. This hotel is in a really great part of town-near Bruntsfield, centre of town, royal mile, university area...it's really excellent! Hotel is lovely-really relaxed, clean and comfy. I felt the location was a bit further away than I would have liked but this is not the fault of the hotel, merely my judgement of distance!. Honestly nothing. It wasn't that I didn't like this but thought it was strange our room did not have a bath. Shower however was very good. Nothing really. nothing, top quality hotel. Unable to relax in the room during the day and woken early due to work being carried out in the adjacent buildings. The only negative to an otherwise nice trip. We had a double bed in the suite, not Queen or King, so a little squashy. Only slight negatives were that the dining area next to reception is quite small and can get very busy. One morning we struggled to find a seat. Toasters are really slow. Agree with someone else's comment about the bathroom light - would be better if the door was where the sink is to shield light from the rest of the room. These are only minor things and wouldn't stop me visiting again. The dinning area was small and on a few mornings there was a queue for breakfast due to the limited number of tables made available. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything going on in the room next to us, even when they were just talking. We requested additional bathroom supplies but never received them. The lift cards did not seem the best idea did not always work. The cooked breakfast wasn't great. But having said that there was an excellent selection on offer. The kitchen has no oven or kitchenette!! Just a microwave to heat the food isn't what you need when you book an appartment to stay. There was a lot of noise intrusion from other rooms (why a connecting door) we had to complain about the people next door who were only talking and could heard plainly at 1.30am. The breakfast although very good was the same each morning. WC/Shower area has no heating. Can 't think of anything. Emailed a querry regarding parking, only to find on arrival that there was a problem with height restriction due to the barrier, being higher up than the concrete ceiling of the actual carpark..2 Different heights think this needs to be addresssed..also lack of toilet facilities in the reception area.. The surrounding area is being developed so the view is of building work. Obviously it will be great when it is finished. The bathroom door didn't have a lock on it and the sliding door wouldn't stay shut. I found the hotel really hot and stuffy, we couldn't open the window in our room. Nothing we didnt like at all. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony but due to heat rising and a lack of air conditioning was a little warm. a little crowded at breakfast at peak times. Subdued lighting in toilet, and the noise of running water when other people in hotel were using their showers. Breakfast area too small and clustered. A lot of noise in the corridors at night and walls to next room seen to be very thin as we could hear them quite a lot. having to use the door key to activate the lifts as its didnt always work all of the time. Breakfast area was quite small during busy periods whilst trying to select food and toaster was incredibly slow. Small breakfast area but didn't have to wait long for table. Not a thing. People in the adjacent room came home at 3.30am making a lot of noise, music talking loudly. However after calling down to reception it was dealt with straight away. This was the only downfall as we obviously had our sleep disturbed! in spite of this we would stay here again!. no bath, lots of dust under bed, bedroom facing over office block,. Didn't notice anything as we were only there for 1 night....all was good. due to new location could not be found on sat-nav. Breakfast area too small. No airconditioning, during our stay it was just bearable, but it must be very uncomfortable on a warm summer day.
