The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was a great start to the day. The Thai restaurant was good quality -you just need to book in advance as we couldn't even get a table but ordered downstairs and they brought it to our room. The view as we were upgraded was beautiful of the sea. Thank you for the Heaters. The room was spacious and well decorated, very clean and with nice touches - lovely towels for example. The staff were really nice and friendly and the quality of the cooked breakfasts was excellent. The dining room had a lovely sunny aspect over the bay. Parking was easy.
所有评语 » Our bedroom 7 was a large twin very comfy beds.Decent Tv hot drinks facilities. Ok it was up two flights of stairs but I new this when I booked it. Breakfast was excellant, and we tried the restraunt on the last night and this was excellant. Staff and the particular room we were allocated - the suite as an upgrade. Food in the restaurant was very good. Everyone very friendly. The island is very clean and roads unbusy. A few good visiting places. Exceedingly good breakfasts and the service by the very pleasant staff. Rooms were comfortable and bathroom good. Had the option to upgrade to a sea view room for only £15 but happy at the back. The room was large and very well furnished The staff were extremely friendly This is not typically used as a business hotel but I would highly recommend it. Incredible value for money. The decor in our room was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast also excellent. The separate Thai restaurant serves gourmet food. Spacious room with living area, comfy beds, great seaside views, breakfasts cooked to order. Fresh milk on demand (when reception open). Very good value, location, spacious suite friendly staff and the Thai restaurant was excellent, would definitely recommend. The rooms are huge and very well appointed. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good too!. Large room, large bath, very comfortable bed, great view across Douglas Bay, local kippers for breakfast. We stayed in the suite - very spacious, clean, massive comfy bed, lovely balcony and huge bathroom and they accept dogs. Superb restaurant downstairs too. The decor was nice.. they had taken what could have been an average hotel and made it appeal to younger people. Staff are friendly and all... My negatives are strong but it needs to be said this was a better then average hotel its just the couple of things that where wrong really did contrast with the other elements. Comfortable Beds, Quality Cotton Duvets. Nicely Decorated. The Staff in reception were lovely and helpful. Breakfast excellent and comfy bed. Room was spacious and very clean. I liked the location. I booked 2 rooms, the Acacia Suite which our relatives had was very nice, lots of room. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. While a lot of work went into decorating the furnishings, the overall building isn't in the greatest shape. The walls have holes and need repair. There was nowhere to really relax - no sitting area and no comfy chair in the room. It is quite a long walk to the town centre, but we knew both these things when we booked. Staff on one of the breakfasts was struggling to take more than one order at a time so we skipped the cooked part of the meal.(only ywo of us) The young English girl was a pleasure to have serving us and there was no other glitches. It may be a bit off putting having 6 burly blokes all at the same time. We did not have to climb so many stairs but others did - no lift, so not too easy for elderly people. We thought eating out a bit pricey for what was on offer. There was nothing to dislike. The initial appearance is a bit off-putting. The stairs smell slightly of the restaurant. The view from our bedroom window was over a very scruffy area of roofs and the backs of other buildings. Pokey bathroom with only a handset over the bath for a shower. Rather frugal tea, coffee and milk supplies. Breakfast fruit juice - made from concentrate - it really would be worth serving the 'freshly squeezed' variety. Even though our room was gorgeous and had amazing view there were only stairs and was tiring after a long day but that's me being lazy. No lounge or bar for guests. Shower was naff, either cold or hot, no constant temperature, but minor niggle and didn't feel it necessary to complain. just one or two minor finishing touches weren't quite there. v.v. minor such as the staircase walls need a paint, but that's it. Steep narrow staircase which I don't think you could do anything about. The toilet seat wouldn't stay in a vertical position (it's a bloke thing). No lift to our room level floor. no issues. Road was a bit noisy but the room was fine. I would not describe it as a hotel boutique. The shower was awful.. leaked all over the bathroom (it was broken) and temperature was either scalding or ice cold quite offten in the space of 10 seconds. Be warned also if your in rooms 10,11 or 12 you have 5 flights of stairs.. good work out if your young enough to do it. Bathrooms very clean but could do with a refurb. WiFi didn't work with Apple Devices. The Room was small, the room was up four flights of stairs, the view was not nice. Top floor of 4 story converted house with no lift. Some staff had less than understandable English. Breakfast staff poorly trained. There was no seat in the bedroom. Our room was on the 4th floor, steep stairs with no banister on the top flight, the room was extremely difficult to get round, only just room for the bed! which meant walking sideways to get to the bathroom. Very small room. Not really what I would class as a "boutique" hotel. Towels not changed in three days. Tiny TV with limited channels. No bar. Breakfast quality very good, staff quality very poor. damp bed linen,noisy extractor vent from kitchen outside the window. no fire escape from room, noise from another room which woke us up.
