  We had an overnight stay in order to catch an early morning flight next day, It was convenient to the airport, very clean and comfortable. We did not have much contact with the staff, but when we did, they were helpful and polite.. - What an absolute pleasure.   Lovely old-fashioned manor house, very large rooms (particularlybathroom!), very helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Very wellsituated for overnight stay going to East Midlands airport. - the hotel has a lot of history this is reflected in some of the decor.Our room was very comfy (and very big) we loved it and will be staying there again.

  When I arrived it was a bit far out from nottingham as my grandchildren where going to a concert and the lady behind the desk tryed to move us nearer but it was full they were lovely and friendly so I was more than happy we stayed there - The staff were friendly, the restaurant was good value for money.
