The Kitchen was very good with all items needed to cook and prepare , we were also given a very early breakfast when we had an early morning train which was excellent as all cafés where closed at 5am and the Television Room was very good all three of us would like to stay again soon. It's a hostal not a hotel, so you expect it to be basic - which it was. But, it was clean, friendly and quiet. Great value and located just out of the city centre. Also, a nice surprise to be able to help yourself to toast, cereals and coffee for breakfast.
所有评语 » i had a great stay here, the hostel and rooms were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly, what more can you ask for from a hostel. the location is great, just a few mins walk from the city centre and the free breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Whole stay there was pleasant and I enjoyed my stay there the manager and the staff were friendly and helpful.would like to thank them for our stay there,we were the ones down for the whitesnake gig at cardiff motorpoint on sunday the 26 of may 2013. clean comfortable basic rooms. very quiet considering a backpackers place with a lot of younger guests. very cheap bar. Friendly knowledgable staff. Well equipped kitchen and games room. 10 mins walk from queens street so easy to get into town. Five if us stayed for the rihannah concert. It was 5 minutes walk into town and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Rooms were clean and comfortable will definatly visit again . I was very surprising about facilities,everything worked,clean and easy to use,the price included breakfast,that great and budget-friendly. We loved the staff working there, They were very friendly and nice to us. I felt like I was at home. I would definitely go back. :D. Nomad Backpacker is a nice and tidy place with very friendly staff. I booked only one night but for me it was enough to "Like it!". Clean and colourful hostel in central location, continental breackfast included, perfect for a short city-trip to Cardiff. Clean budget hostel, very welcoming and friendly staff. A place to rest your head and that'S about all. The facilities were relatively clean, though there were remnants of fake eyelashes and hair around my bed. The kitchen was decent for cooking basics. Close to city Staff were accommodating and let us store our luggage before check in and after check out. It was cheap, breakfast included. The room and toilets were superclean. The location was quite good. For £20 a night for a single room.....what do you expect......would certainly stay here again. Value for money, very cheap accommodation. Good common room facilities including a bar. Friendly staff, rather fast wi-fi downstairs, clean, cheap, lockers in the rooms. Clean, cheap, friendly, basic breakfast, but you can eat as much as you like. relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, near to the town centre, cheap. The people were friendly. It's a clean place to stay. The price was good and it has everything you need. The staff, everyone was really nice and helpful. The staff was amazing! Kind and helpfull. It should be cleaner.. Price for one night. I explain that I booked one bed because of Speedway Grand Prix at Millenium Stadium so price explain my little, very little minus. In general I'm glad I was there. Secluded for walking back at night time but taxis only £4 from centre Good shower but blocked plug, minor detail really. Mattress was a tad lumpy but other than that everything was fine :). No negative comments. Nothink i have no complaints. A few things I did not find it impressive having a woobly bunk and other people not respecting others coming in early hours of morning. The breakfast choices were full of sugar, no fruit choices or brown bread provided. Disappointed with this rubbish breakfast included deal. If you want a good deal, I say this one is not. Cleanliness in the bathrooms/shower-rooms could have been much better, one bath in particular was filthy. Access to electrical sockets in the dorms could be improved and perhaps discreet lamps could be considered for each bed to improve visibility if some people are already in bed. 1 shower per floor. Very very very basic facilities... The breakfast is supermarket cheap bread and out of stock for quite a while. The place is little bit far away from the city center and central station. We walked 15-20 minutes at night, the dark road towards the hostel is scaring. Considering the budget hotel like ibis's price, it may be your second choice. I have no objections. nothing. Mattress was slippery as it was covered by rexine and on letsbookhotel.com it showed individual beds but i was given beds which are one above the other and it was quite disturbing as any berth occupants moves it used to shake whole bed ,slight distrubing. No towels in room, lack of coat-hangers, poor wi-fi quality in room. Nothing. no lifts for people with walking problems. Nothing. beds are really uncomfortable and every turning will make a loud noise. This is in no way a hostel for people who want the backpacker experience of meeting people and making friends. The staff hardly said more than "have a good day" to me. I would only stay here if I only wanted somewhere to sleep after a night of partying. Beds were basic and made a lot of noise when moving during the night. I hadn't been warned of the 5pounds deposit for the room. The matress was not very confortable. I could hear the music until quite late. Very plain, basic rooms. Beds were not comfortable and WiFi connection poor in the rooms. Bathrooms were very poorly maintained. On our level, showers leaked all over the floor and the toilets would not flush. But you get what you pay for. Ok for a short stay, but we stayed for 7 nights which was far too long. Poor breakfast, and you have to wash the dishes yourself. old, hard mattresses, a little cold in the winter, basic bathroom. no wi-fi in the room. The wifi was very poor. Their TV had just free channels so one can't really watch their favourite program's on the paid channels. the guys who were shouting and talking at 4 a.m. in the back garden. The bed was loud. The overall feel of the hostel was a a little bit depressing. It lacks the vibe of a typical backpackers hostel. Breakfast wasn't very great too. The broadband was so slow it was at peak times barely useable. Beds very uncomfortable. Full hostel with early check-out = cold shower :(, for almost 30gbp for a bunk bed at least a hot shower....
