staff were very friendly and helpful.i have stayed in many 4and a couple of 5star hotels and was not expecting too much because this ibis hotel only has a 2star rating.but i was very nicely surprised with this hotel.the rooms were very clean,there was facilities for making tea and coffee in the room,the breakfast buffet was very good and lasted til 12 noon.the hotel may not have a gym or a swimming pool but for a short stay and a low budget it was perfect.we were a group of ten people with 5 do.
所有评语 » Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel accommodated my request for a quiet room by putting me in a peaceful canal-facing room at the end of a higher floor. Room was clean, fairly large, comfortable, well-designed, all the amenities you might need. 24/7 ironing room and food service if needed, also a decent quiet family pub next door. Nice dining area / lobby lounge for relaxing in. Plenty of parking space. Good location close to Saltaire, Shipley train station and shops. I wou. Amazing value and a great base for beautiful countryside, city shopping, or visit to galleries such as at Salts Mill. You can eat well nearby and drink at a good bar without taking the car. A great place for a budget break ..... but don't too many of you go because I want it to always be available at this price for us! The staff were all terrific; very pleasant and helpful. There was even a view! The second floor room overlooked the barges on the canal. I liked all aspects of the stay however booking through you for the first time as your site sent me a message to say there was a problem with my card so I went back to your site and was redirected to your other site and it appears that two rooms were booked and I have been now charged twice can you please look into this as this was not my fault please check your emails my mobile number is 07831606782 Thank you. Decent sized rooms with all the facilities you would need. Situated along the canal, the walk into Saltaire was most pleasant and interesting. The industrial past with the mills combined with new office blocks/flats and then the beautiful Park about a mile from the hotel. The board room was functional. I would stay again as a city break to explore more of the surrounding area. This is second time I have used this hotel for visits to family. Although it is not the closest (Rawdon) it offers best value and is extremely staff friendly and has free wi-fi. The free wi-fi alone encourages me to revisit. The local Salts Mill and area is a real bonus. Very practical location for our regular family visits. Canal at the back is also an interesting feature. We booked in for two nights, to attend a dance venue at the Victoria Hall close by, that my daughter was taking part in, it turned out to be an excelent choice on our behalf, Staff very friendly and wellcoming. Very clean, beds comfy. I very much liked being able to get an excelent cooked breakfast. Thank you to all the staff who made it a very pleasent couple of days. The room was clean and quite spacious, the bed was not too low and comfortable, there was adequate hanging space a small table and 2 chairs, the windows opened and the curtains were lined so nice and dark whilst sleeping. The tea/coffee making facilities were good so all in all an excellent stay at a very good price. We didn't eat there but it looked very good. For the price I paid I wasn't expecting much, how wrong I was. Compared to some "travel"hotels, this was luxury. Friendly welcoming staff, good eating facilities with a bar if required and excellent rooms. Ours overlooked a small canal with barges. 15 minutes from the airport, which was important. This was perfect for us. I was showing a friend my home area. We had excellent access to Leeds and Bradford, as well as to the amazing Salts Mill with the Hockney galleries and its village and park, and then to Ilkley and the moors. A perfect setting aong the canal with easy walking in the evening. The Ibis is convienient to Bradford and Leeds. Room was clean and airy with plenty of light and being disabled the ground floor room was ideal. The staff were helpful and polite at all times. Nothing too much trouble and problems were sorted with in 15 minutes. Friendliness of staff and the cleanliness and decor of the hotel. Spotlessly clean and well decorated. No frills but well worth the cost. Next door to a large pub if you need a meal and 5 minute walk from Shipley centre bus and railway stations. Despite using a portal (letsbookhotel.com) I was surprised to be able to get a lovely room overlooking the Leeds/Liverpool canal with boats and early fishermen. When the tv went on the blink it was immediately dealt with by the charming staff. huge room with canal view which we requested on booking. Beds are superb and the hotel was so quiet even though I think it was full one night. No airconditioning !! We dont like aircon !! Very clean and all the staff we met were so friendly. Excellent location - room overlooked Leeds-Liverpool canal - within walking distance of Salts Mill home of Hockney exhibition. Also wonderfull Fanny's Ale House just up the road - gas lit, wooden floors, roaring fire and real ale. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. We cant thank them enough. Room was clean and tidy. The hotel was in an ideal location for our business and family trip. Saltaire is full of nice bars 'Fannys' ale house is great. Had to pay for two double rooms because letsbookhotel.com said there were no triple rooms, but when we got there one of the rooms did in fact sleep three so we could have saved half the cost had we known. We were in Shipley for my brother's retirement, so this hotel was close to The Salvation Army where it took place. helpfulness of the staff - got the right balance of formal / informal/ respect ofr customer/joining in with jokes. the staff were excellent a real credit to your company, very helpful and friendly, hotel was very clen and tidy. as always this is our 4th stay and this was as good as the first friendly clean very helpful good breakys. Staff were great. Hotel was cleaner and smarter than many hotels in the area at twice the price. have absolutely nothing to complain about. No negatives. Nothing. Nothing to dislike. Room was very hot despite the windows being open all night BUT our stay was during a very warm spell of weather. Nothing to report. Not enough hangers and no hand towels only bath towels but you could ask for them.. so not a problem. I miss the small toiletries!. Nothing really. This was what we wanted - a room with space, clean and well situated, and an excellent staff that really seemed to like being in that place. The food was not value for money. In fact I was disappointed that I had to go out to eat. As for what we got was very nice, but there was nothing to tuck into. A couple of mouth fulls and that was it. I expected more having paid £25 plus for 2 meals. cant think of anything. First room we were shown had been occupied by a smoking guest - prohibited of course. We were very quickly moved to another lovelier room. The only very mnor point is the lift makes quite a heavy jolt on the way up so I guess if you had a drink in your hand it would go everywhere!. Food on the breakfast buffet was warm Prefered low cost internet connection but Ive stayed in many hotels this last year and most offer the same where you pay a fixed amount which I feel is too pricey. Nothing (lift not working during my visit but no problem for me!). No fridge. Sometimes the bathroom tumblers were not replaced. Bad smell coming up from our sink in the bathroom.(had to keep the plug in). letsbookhotel.com's hotel review is 5 years old. The supposed newly refurbished rooms are five years old! The TV is small and old fashioned. The TV fare is very limited and there is no connectivity for computers (I watch my own stuff through an HDMI cable linked from my computer to the TV. No anti-slip mat in the bathroom. A good bye and a thankyou when we left?? An extra towel per person, . . . . when us ladies are washing our hair we tend to use 2 towels!!??. nothing .. half of some ones sandwich under the bed but cleaner probably couldn't see it as you would have to get down on floor I saw it as I dropped my ring wasn't a prob though we all make mistakes x. No rooms for a family of four. We are two adults and have two young children, both under 11. I had to hire two rooms which made it very expensive night. Soundproofing could be better - architect should be shot for such poor design. Breakfast was exspensive with no continental option(great breakfast at Saltaire). No soap or handwash in room although the lady on reception was so nice and apologised and got me some when I asked. IF it had a spa this hotel would be complete!. no facilities for a nightcap following our night at a relatives wedding. soft drinks were available (coffee from a machine ) but no alcohol. we are not big drinkers but as there was two couples whom we only see occasionally, we would have liked to stay for a drink. Beware of the thin and watery scrambled eggs they do for breakfast (the rest is ok). nothing. Difficult to find the way in to the car park. Very poor soundproofing. Very noisey room door closing. Limited evening menu. The shower was slippery and needed a shower mat. The breakfast was plentiful, but was luke warm. Probably been cooked for a while to cover length of breakfast times. still looking x.
