Fabulous hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Made to feel most welcome indeed. Breakfast exceptional. Cleanliness was first class and rooms are nicely decorated and user friendly with excellent furniture I do not normally write reviews. I am moved to write this one however I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Worth its four star rating. I had signature room with sea view. I would say that executive or standard room are more than sufficient, having asked to look at.
所有评语 » Staff were excellent and reception were brilliant, ringing me when my room was available to check in which was 11am, very early. Also as we had come to see the air show they had printed brochures with timetables which were so helpful as we hadn't been before. We were able to leave our bag at the hotel after check out and when we collected it were able to use the facilities and change after being on the beach all day ready for our journey home. Room was so clean and comfortable, had everything w. Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. I have never experienced a hotel with every single member of staff being this helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. It really made our stay. We travelled with our 8 weeks old baby. We were allocated a spacious lovely room with a crib. On arrival we realised we didnt request a room with a bath. We asked if there would be one. If high season we werent sure that would be possible but within minutes, we were moved. Breakfast at the Crab restaurant was lovel. 1. staffs are very nice and friendly, they replied my email and request perfectly. 2. The location is the best for "BIC" and easy to walk to town center, Lower garden and the beach. 3. Clean. 4. Free WIFI 5. Breakfast is so good, although there are just a few choices for order and the buffet zone but the taste is nice. 6. Sea view room is big it has a lot of space, anyway don't expect to have a nice sea view you won't see the sea perfectly due to the distance but it's still fine. We stayed here because we went to a show at the BIC and location wise you couldn't get any closer! Our room was at the back of the hotel so we heard no noise at all from the BIC. Our room had a separate living room with sofa, tv & coffee making facilities and we also had a walk-in wardrobe! The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the Crab Restaurant and the food was excellent, staff were great too. The location of the hotel was as described and very central for all the facilities in Bournemouth. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the Crab Restaurant (attached to the hotel) and the menu offered and the food served was delicious. The resident pianist was extremely good, playing a medley of popular music, in all, a very good atmospere. Staff very attentive without being overbearing unlike some upmarket restaurants. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was to our liking. The whole stay was thoroughly enjoyable except on one night, as we had only booked for half board, we were unable to reserve a table for dinner. We learned our lesson and reserved earlier for the rest of our stay. The car parking arrangement the have with the Bournemouth International Centre (just across the road) costs half the price of other car parks. 110% to all the staff. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were so attentive and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. We were up graded to a wonderful sea view room, an anniversary card and cookies await us in our room, also we had two other rooms for family and the hotel put us all on the same floor. close together. food wonderful, bic and beach on the door step, town a few steps away. must add very peaceful nights sleep. I recommend this hotel. no problems parking. Exceptionally helpful staff. Convenient. We were able to change at hotel before going home even though we had checked out hours before. And leave our bags until our train left. Room was beautiful. Even though it was close to a busy road not noisy as building and windows are well built. Interior simple but warm and modern feel. Restaurant Crabbe to die for!. Friendliness of staff, especially John on reception, he made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, I hope he will still be there next summer when I shall be staying again. I cannot find anything bad to say it was a lovely stay and even though they were exceptionally busy at breakfast the staff all managed to stay smiling. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for them. When checking in I mentioned to the reception staff that we were in Bournemouth to celebrate my sister's birthday, about 10 mins later there was a knock at the door they had brought her a card and some flapjack we thought this was a lovely touch. The location was excellent for the BIC and going into town and the car parking was good as they used the BIc facilities across the road. The staff where excellent as was the breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom shower was good too. Everywhere looked well maintained and was clean. Lovely room(s) and great location, just a short stroll to the beach. The children thought it was the best hotel ever and we could not have been happier with our choice either. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and attentive and breakfast alone was worth the money paid. Highly recommended. Customer service within the hotel and restaurant were exceptional, the restaurant in particular had numerous staff who were attentive and helpful. Would certainly recommend. The evening meal and breakfast were lovely. The location the the BIC was excellent too, couldn' t have chosen better. Had a great stay, the staff were great and met all expectations, would highly recommend this hotel, the beds are also extremely comfortable and had a grata nights sleep, the breakfast was very good too, would definitely go back if I was to return to Bournemouth. The location is perfect Restaurant very nice and the Breakfasts are fantastic so much choice. We will definitely be returning. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, explained everything and offered to bring our bags in. E mailed us a few days before our visit and asked if we needed a car space booked. Lovely breakfast. there was 3 of us that stayed with u and it was a very nice stay all the staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived there was a power cut and the staff was very good the staff in the restaurant was fab at breakfast as well and the girls on reception were lovely. This hotel was first class, from the moment we arrived until we left the staff couldnt do enough for you, the room was lovely, clean and comfortable, the food in the restaurant was first class and very reasonable. Had a lovely stay and would definitely go back. Polite friendly staff, the hotel and rooms are very clean, the room we stayed in 506 was spacious and the bed very comfortable, breakfast was very good and excellent choices. I would have nom hesitation in coming cack or recommending it to friends and family. Hotel was excellent staff very friendly real comfy bed room was very quite excellent double glazing as we were on road side but you could not hear traffic breakfast also excellent as much toast tea or coffee as you wanted .Would definatley stay again. A great stay at the hotel, lovely views and very close to the beach. The kids had a fab time and the breakfast was also very good. The customer service was excellent especially at the front desk. Friendly staff, clean rooms with nice views, excellent location and nice breakfast area in the Crab restuarant overlooking the seaside. Have stayed in many hotels in Bournemouth over the years and have to say this is one of the best. Very pleasant staff & absolutely spotless accommodation. Excellent location for the BIC-as directly opposite. Lovely breakfast- great choices. Friendly and efficient staff. All in all a good value for money hotel. Liked the fact it was right opposite the BIC so was ideal for attending our concert. Staff were very polite and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean. Nothing to dislike. I cannot reconmend highly enough. Nothing. Nothing apart from wifi being slow. Everything is nice so I'm gonna say the things that the hotel could improve.. 1. Lift is little bit small and old but it's ok compare to the size of the hotel. 2.the tv is not modern, and the remote in one room was not good, it's difficult to press and change channel. 3.no air condition but it's ok for us because of the cold weather in November. There are no leisure facilities. would have loved air con. Having to leave. The only down side was we were woken a number of times by other guest coming back in the early hours and slamming their doors up. We had room 212 which was right next to reception so there was some noise at times but it was a one night stay so it was not a big deal. Not enough coat hangers which is a small detail and not enough biscuits :). Wife hurt her thigh by running into the edge of the bed a couple of times as there is a stick out bit at the bottom of the bed where you pass by. In the end we just placed a towel over it. Nothing major just small niggles. It was a shame that there was no parking at the hotel, but there are plenty of car parks nearby. We were able to drop off our bags early and leave them at the hotel, which was helpful. Some of the rooms may get a bit noisy, as apart from the amusements on the beach and the BIC across the road there are many pubs and restaurants dotted around. However, we did not find this a problem. That I didn't stay for more than one night!!. Leaving ! :-(. Nothing. the only problem was the toilet in our room kept going like it was flushing all the time but the staff at reception was good at coming to fix the problem but it happened every time we used it. Pity there wasn't car parking on site. only real slight moan no parking on site very minor detail. Nothing. Nothing really. Room service selection wasn't great. Bing picky, but the basin was too small in the bathroom. Returned to the hotel for a night cap to find bar closed and no guest bar available and night porter unable to accommodate drinks in room because 'he didnt know how'. The only down side was that we felt the mattress was a bit on the soft side, but the room itself was excellant. Room slightly on the warm side even with the window open and radiators off plus it was cold outside (we didn't raise this with staff though so may have been easily rectified, there was also an air conditioning unit in the room that we didn't use) Small and rickety lifts. The only downside was the breakfast. Would have preferred a buffet so you could choose your English fryup. I had baked beans slapped on top of my breakfast and had to scrape them off ,I like mine on the side but this is being very picky. The 'disabled' entrance needs an external 'push button device' for anyone in a wheelchair to enter. The room was very warm and although a fan was provided which did help, we had to have the window open which meant it became quite noisey during the night. Room was on the 5th floor and was in the eves so difficult to keep cool in the hot weather. Noise from the road outside and people passing by. not enough parking for the unload. nothing. n/a. Lack of a lounge and day facilities Restaurant attached is mainly for fish lovers (the crab). Nothing really although the inclusion of a small seat or stool in the bathroom would be advantageous. Would be perfect if it had a pool. We would have liked to eat in the restaurant before the show at the bic- but we found the menu choice a little too "fancy" would have liked to see a plainer option (even just basic steak/chips for my 'fussy husband').
