  I had to visit Birmingham recently and booked Gables Nest at very short notice. The price was excellent, the room was spotless, the breakfast was top notch, easy access to the city and most of all, the welcome from the owner, Mal was so friendly. I would definitely use Gables Nest again and recommend it to friends.   I love the view from our room at the back over looking the car park as we could see our car. The room was very clean and spacious and comfortable, was a bit too hot, but we manage to turn the heater off. Breakfast was first class, lots of choices and presentation was excellent.
