Made to feel very welcome by both the staff and the regular customers. The bed was big and comfy and the T.V in my room was exceptional,though be warned that this was the exception. The view of Runcorn bridge was amazing from my window and gave off no traffic noise.. -

It is also directly opposite the train station into Liverpool.
The hotel itself is an old building but i found it very clean with very helpful staff from reception to dining room.

EXcellent location, it is opposite Birkenhead Central station; I left a laptop charger in our room and the staff were very helpful when I wanted to recover it. Very convenient for the Mersey ferry and wartime German U-boat museum.
