The location is excellent, less than 100 yards from Trabzon's main square, and the hotel doesn't get traffic noise, though the adjacent mosque is loud at the appropriate times. We had a commanding view of the town and the sea from our terrace (upper floors have the best views), and our room was beautifully decorated. And if you don't feel like doing the short, uphill walk home from town - The manager Lale was terrific, and upgraded us at no extra cost to two apartments (a master suite for us and a junior suite with 2 beds for the kids). She also gave great advice on local restaurants and stores. The suites are high above the town, but beautiful and very walkable.
