  We had a wonderful time in Patara while we were staying at Akay pension. It's a nice, cosy and clean pension, not for those who are looking for luxury , but for those who want to feel the nature and the Turkish culture . Kazim and his family are friendly and warm. Located in the beautiful village center of Gelemis; one of my favorite towns in Turkey. Very near the hotel are lots of good restaurants, flowers and trees, shops and friendly people. Small parking lot at the hotel location. Plenty of hot water for shower and good a/C. A great place to stay for enjoying one of the best beaches in Turkey and the ancient site of Patara.

  Really funny some of the negative references. Nothing is true, at least not when we were there. There is of course hot water in the shower, but no chicken and no guy in undies (and if so: so what??) Instead great place, clean, refurbished, and they care a lot to know what to improve.
