We stayed as a group of three this May. Everything was just fine and smooth. Location is really perfect, just a few steps away from the busy Istiklal Ave, but very quiet (though we heard the echo of the nightclubs at night, they did not disterb us). The staff as friendly and helpful as can be, always there and ready to give good advise. Nice people staying there. This place is run by a group of polite and helpful students. The location is very near Istiklal avenue but it is on a quiet alley. Breakfast was also good and towel is provided for a deposit. There is also a kitchen where you can have your meal and free tea/coffee and meet other travelers.
所有评语 » The location was great close to Taksim square you could take the metro to anywhere. The value for money was incredible!! There are some of the friendliest people at the reception that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting I would certainly choose to stay at this place again. Everything was nice! Good location, friendly stuff, quite cheap. It's nice to hear seagulls in the morning. For us was very helpfull to have opportunity to use domestic kitchen and cook. Location was really good! Very easy access to the main shopping street (Istiklal Street) that is also where the restaurants, bars, etc are located. Helpful staff. Fantastic location if you want to stay in Beyoglu, just off Istiklal street. Feels safe, staff is very nice and courteous. There is a kitchen and there are basic facilities in the room ( a towel and air conditioner )for the tenants. Location was perfect and with directions they sent it was easy to find. As for the staircase some people complayining here about, I guess it's a common thing for the houses in the centre of Istanbul, there is nothing you cannot manage. The ventilation of the bathroom was somewhat poor. Room doors have space under them so you can hear other rooms or sound from downstairs. None whatsoever. It's to loud music from the night clubs situated near, but it's finished around 2 and. But if you use earplugs it didn't disturbe. Nothing. Sure the accommodation was basic, and there were lots of stairs to climb, especially since I was on the 5th floor. But that was expected. Hard to think of anything, considering how cheap my stay was ... if I may be nit-picking, then there is a faint musty smell in the bathroom. Cmon, what do you expect for less than 20.00 EUR a night?. The room is in the fifth floor. The stairs are dangerous. They could use daylight lightbulbs inside the room but it's not a big deal. Gehorig trappenhuis. Tired stairs - and the absence of a sign indicating the name of the hotel. The place isa little crampy, small bathrooms, the hotel is hard to find. stairs. The room is too small. The breakfast is poor. In the hostel was cold. The bed and the facilities in the rooms are really old,you do not feel comfort with them,also the toilet and bathroom is very small and not clean enough ,and also crowded! The kitchen for breakfast is very small and you should do all breakfast prepration by yourself!. Top floor rooms reek of black mold. Quite dangerous if you have any respiratory problems. The mold is easily seen by looking out the windows at the roof eaves. Very hard to find location. No signage and down a dirty street. No hand rails on steep stairs.
