  The resort is a little diffrent in a good way. It's bacically partly in the jungle (with monkeys) and partly buy the sea. The bungalows and rooms are big and spacious. Nicely decorated. The breakfast was wonderful and the food was better than average.   The location just across the road from the beach was fine and the beach was pleasant with chairs for rent under a shade tree and shallow clear water far ouy into the sea eg Hich was great for the kids to play in. They booked an elephant camp for us one morning and the housekeeping and front desk staff were quick to respond to requests- - At first I booked a Seaside room, there are two separate buildings for the Alina. The seaside rooms are older then there newer building which is not ocean side however I like these rooms more. The rooms in the newer building are larger and brighter which I found to be more comfortable. The swimming pool is beautiful and if you are concerned about the night club music just ask for a room on the opposite side of the building and you will sleep just fine.

  Very convenient location, Good food at reasonable prices, my room was accessible from the main road but I observed hotel staff keeping an eye and reporting with walkie talkies. Good breakfast.
