Very calming environment, beautifully designed, lots of plants and water features, even though very close to the old town. Food good, staff lovely and really helpful when we extended our stay - nothing was too much bother for them. We did two excellent trips - to Doi Suthep, and a full day to Doi Inthanon. Both excellent. A really beautiful hotel with very nice and clean rooms. The pool and garden area is a great place to relax after discovering the city. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. We did enjoy the time in the Banthai Village and it's definitely a place to stay again on a next trip to Chiang Mai.
所有评语 » The staff are very nice especially a male staff with clearly english. They offered us a birthday cake for on-day birthday when we arrived. They made room for us every day. Nice amd quiet place in the centre near night market as well. We love the architectural of this hotel and overall stay we do enjoy our stay at this hotel. The location was okay as we just walk about 15minutes to night bazaar and there are a lots of tuk-tuknext to the main street. the location was very good a short walk to tapae gate and the old city,close to the night bazar and the walking street markets.we loved the local people and found them respectfull and freindly. I liked the ambience and staff attitude; traditional references in the building design and furnishings and the use of honest materials; the seclusion and quiet location. Wonderful staff. Lovely grounds and nice room. Great pool. Bar and restaurant very good. Excellent location. Good value. Totally satisfied with this choice. Gorgeous resort and facilities. Very helpful staff and arranged a day trip for us. It was the perfect place to enjoy part of our honeymoon in Chiang Mai. I loved the decor and the wood buildings. I liked the smiling charming helpful staff. I liked the general calm relaxed intimate atmosphere. a nice hotel near tapae gate，two temples around it，they provide airport pick up service，also it has a swimming pool and pool bar〜. Very helpful staff, great location 5 minutes to the night bazaar. Pool is nice with trees surrounding it providing shade. Nice resort, near the Night Bazzar, really helpful and enthusiastic staff. This is my second stay, as good as before. Loved the ambiance, decor, location. I highly recommend this hotel, especially the pool view room. We loved it!. Would not describe it as a Hotel, but more like a guest house. Close to night life area (Bars) and only a short distance away from the Night Bazaar by Tuc Tuc. We liked the simplicity of the hotel & the tranquility of the area. The location was fantastic because there were massage parlours & cafes/restaurants nearby. Location is good; rooms are nicely decorated. Thé rooms are ok Thé shop is beautiful. Very original Thai design, liked it. No negatives, i'd go back. It would be better if they provide Teeth brush and tooth paste in room. Wifi in the room need the improvement as we can't log on sometime. Other was great!. nothing negitive. Nothing worth mentioning. I didn't like leaving!. Breakfast could have more choices, bathroom tub could use more cleaning. It took sometime to solve out the road around, especially how to go to the main road. Breakfast was expensive and not that good. cold shower. Room we booked not available for 1 week & were offered a room with upstairs/downstairs which was not suitable as I have osteo in both knees & up/down stairs not good. We had to pay extra to upgrade to a suitable one level room. No hanging space for longer length clothing. Little bit noisy at night when people walk around in rooms up above. Minimal parking space. Breakfast. curtains let in a lot of light. Really didn't like not having a hot shower to stand under...not sure what the purpose of having a cold shower is. Also, didn't like not having a shower curtain or door. Also, so much light comes in the room very early in the morning, making sleep difficult. Very few places at the swimming pool, just five or six beach beds which are always occupied. Weird air-con - each 15 min it started to blow extremely strong. Not much room for clothes and ac blows directly on you in bed. You are either cold or hot. Need mosquito spray. Tour prices high. Slipery floor. Need Attention. The Mosquitos and the way the ac blows directly on you. Tours prices were high,. Storage for clothes.. Or lack of. Location is difficult to find when traveling. Staff English were limited and difficult to understand. Shower water were not very warm. American breakfast option is also limited and bigger portions could be offered. The beds were terrible. The mattress was so hard, we couldn't get comfortable. The first 2 nights sleep were broken, which made it hard to get up in the morning. The design of the bed was horrible because it was easy to bump your shin on the frame of the bed. The hotel is overpriced. It is already too big to feel comfortably. We booked a room for 4 nights, but we got a room for one night in one building and for other 3 nights we needed to move to another building. It was really uncomfortable. Thé staff was awful : they only think about money they are not helpful Thanks To them we have almost missed our coach bécause they wanted To seek our room To see if we have stolen something in thé minibar ..!!! Thé location not in thé city Thé breakfast not good ans of you are late of 5 minutes you cant breakfast any more. Lots of ants, lack of proper parking space.
