Hotel itself has very good (central)location, parking facility under the hotel was a big advantage atarrival and departure, but also if you go there by car. Kitchenette waswell equipped.

  A modern design hotel in downtown Basel, excellent location close to the tram, shops, restaurant and main sights. Hotel staff was friendly and the room itself beautifully designed. The bed was ultra comfortable, even pillows way better than in most hotels. The breakfast area itself is somewhat small but very cosy. Wi-Fi worked super well, i - The hotel is very conveniently located in the hart of town and just off the banks of the Rhine river.   We always arrive late on a Friday for our weekend trips as we leave after work, and with codes to get in and for getting your room key that was no problem at all. The windows and blinds were also amazing - there was a jazz band playing across the street Friday night but as soon as we closed the window we couldn't hear anything and the blinds kept ... 别人怎么说 » out all light. - The staff did go above what they tell they'd offer: i.e. checking me in outside of their opening hours because they were there "anyway" and I could leave my luggage with them because the room wasn't ready (I was before check-in time) and because I would return so late, they brought it up to my room.   The staff was very efficient and helpful. The location is excellent being near the main train station and tram lines. - I use this hotel fairly regularly owing to its proximity to the main SBB/SNCF railway station at Basel.

It is about 20 minutes tram ride to Basel. For my liking the hotel bar could do with not closing at midnight. There is a good free Tea/Coffee making machine in the hotel lobby. I believe that this is a good hotel to stay at for both business and leisure, we would stay here again.
