  When we arrived we were welcomed by a charming and helpful receptionist. Although we were early we could book in the room straight away. The room was very clean , the beds comfortable - one of it was bunk, but I knew about it in advance so no problem there. The breakfast buffet was varied and it was plenty there, good coffee. If you have a travel card location is not a problem at all. It takes about half a hour to get to Gamla stan by walk and about 10 min to nearest subway station. Breakfast isgood. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Luggage room is very useful, especially if you have late flight. In few words, it's good value for money.

  I realy like that it was quiet and a friendly athmosphere. It was a lot of showers and wc so I never feel that I has to wait for this. It was emasing to see that it works so well to drive a hostel without staff/reception. It had more of a htel feeling than a backpackers hostel, and it is more family-oriented than wild backpackers.   This hostel is great value for money for Stockholm and quite comfortable. Our end was a like a nice hotel, with the use of hostel facilities (ie cheap washing machine, kitchen, kids toys, guidebooks, info). The room was equipped almost like a hotel ie with hairdryer, phone. It was quite a large place with many groups of teenagers staying there. Being there in the winter, the room was nice and warm. Many TV channels including programmes in English. Can even buy stamps at the hotel.

Reception is open 24/7 so had no problem checking out at 2 in the morning. The rooms are modern, clean, and with kitchen, which was important to me as I was bringing a cheese back to the States that I hiked into the Alps to purchase. :) The staff were very friendly and super helpful. It's a quick Tunnelbana to T-Central. For me, the old portion of the city was within a very comfortable walking distance.
