It is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. The location is perfect when your room is facing the ocean sea. Food is fabulous at the resturant specially the dinner and some times they are providing Arabic food like ( Briyani and maqloba ) and the value of money is very reasonable. My kids loved singing at the music lounge in the night and they have nice choices of movies that you can feel yourself at the cinema. Staff are very friendly.
所有评语 » فندق رائع بكل معنى الكلمه واختيار ممتاز وخصوصا للذين يريدون الاسترخاء على الشاطئ. موقعه ممتاز أطلاله مباشره على شاطئ المحيط وفي شارع الفنادق في بنتوته وقريب من المحلات التجاريه. المطعم رائع ولديهم الكثير من الخيارات واحيانا يقدمون آكلات عربيه في البوفيه على العشاء مثل البرياني والمقلوبه والأسعار مناسبه جداً. يوجد غرفه موسيقى في الدور الثاني تتيح لك الاستمتاع بليله غنائيه جميله او مشاهده فلم لسهره سينمائيه. باختصار انصح به بشده. The best of all at the Surf was the proximity of the beach to the rooms. The french windows on the ground floor opened directly on to the beach floor. The staff was also very courteous. Choose the ground floor rooms (131-140) and (105-110) for the best experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The staff are mostly really lovely, extremely friendly and try their hardest. The pool and activities staff are great. Location on the beach is really good, but Bentota itself is the pits. Hikkaduwa looked better for us. Very good location. All rooms over look the beach (stayed on first room which was probably better in my opinion). Most staff very friendly and nice. Food was average in hotel. Beach, the two pools, size of room, quality of toiletries in bathroom, AC and TV options. Proximity to Bentota. Buffet breakfast. It provides driver accommodation and food. Everything! Ocean, Surf, beach 1,5 km, restaurantes and cuisines, room with ocean view, staff, swimming pool, funny handsome ground-squirrel at the bar restaurant, Spa. Very, very beautiful place! Cheap, friendly and nice! Try to get the rooms on the ground floor - you will have direct access to the beach!. Everything is great about the place. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Nice comfi rooms with a ocean view. Superb rooms, location is simply amazing, lovely place for couples as well as family. They have to take care of the maintenance of rooms as the AC had disconnected several times during our stay as well as the fridge and some times the water in bathrooms. لاتوجد نقاط سلبيه رئيسيه. Price of the rooms and food was on the steeper side than I would have liked. The buffet is perfectly ok and very good value but the "international" food is all over the place. The check-in staff member we had was appalling, telling me I couldn't get cash in the hotel and to go to the nearest ATM. When I said that I had already tried and it didn't issue cash to foreign cards, she said she already knew that!. Hotel could not give any information about tours/sights/transport- very unhelpful in that area which seemed odd. Had issue when checking in as we arrived earlier than expected and hotel charged for early check-in without mentioning to us. Being constantly hustled for tips and bribes to eventually get a better service (e.g. to get a "free" upgrade). The breakfast room could have fans to extract the fumes / smoke resulting from live cooking of e.g. french omelets and other buffet options. Wi-fi works only at the bar (no in the rooms) and very slowly. Moskitos. No negative points to mention. Everything was amazing!. The temperature of the shower was constantly changing from hot to cold. Very few options for vegetarian food. Vegan is even more difficult. The car park was a little far from the entrance. If the valet parking driver is not available you have to park the vehicle and walk backto the hotel. Bathroom did not have enclosed shower area resulting in it remaining wet always :(. Staff and service very poor. There was block in the toilet of Room no 150 which was attended very late for repairs. Nothing. why in the room price at once taxes are not counted? it would be very convenient if taxes are included, it was immediately evident to the real price per room. When we checked in ,the recieptionist told us we must pay our bills in advance.It is puzzling.At the same time,the staff didn't give us any reciepts initiatively. Food same whole week, not much fresh fruits and vegetables, personal not well trained for communication, wi-fi does not work well. cleaning, front disk, the stuff doesn't want to work the seat in bathroom was too dirty the sheet of the bed has yellow spot and they didn't feel thy should change it. Be careful when walk through hotel garden it is full of snake !! The staff tray to steel you by asking money for free service You have to pay for wifi password. Horrible place. Please don't stay here. The air condition does not work. Extremely dysfunctional rooms to restaurant. Strongly recommend no.
