  The location was excellent. We had thought about staying at the parador but although it looked nice we were very glad we stayed at Casona de Lucia. It was much more convenient.   Excellent modern interior decor while maintaining the rustic, medieval exterior. We booked a superior room which was probably worth the extra. The senora was most welcoming, friendly and helpful. Location next to the old castle, now a Parador, the Plaza Mayor and many of the other 16th century buildings.

  From beginning to end. Email was great - I set this up from California. Better than expected. Hosts were fantastic - especially trying to deal with our group that even Spanglish was a challenge! As previous comments state - excellent breakfast including scrambled egg, crepes and cake! All served at the table in very pleasant dining room. Would definitely recommend this small hotel.
