Hotel recently decorated which gave all areas and our room a very fresh and new feel. Air conditionning in the room. Very tastefully decorated and scented - scented candles burning in reception and one in our room. Very helpful reception staff who talked us through good places to eat, drink and visit. On arrival there was a problem with our reservation in as much as we didn't appear to have one. The booking had been made one month ago and we had received full confirmation of our booking, so thi.

The room was large and clean with high ceilings and the wifi signal was strong. A woman at the front desk was very helpful and voluntarily gave us a lot of information about the history of the city, what to do and what to see. She was great. The location was good, too. It's within walking distance to both Alcazar and Seville Cathedral. Fantasic Location in the heart of the historic old town and a stone's throw from the Cathedral and Alcazar. The suite we had also had bags of charm and character and had a lovely outside roof terrace and the entrance foyer to the building was very tastefully furnished. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The cost of the accommodation was extremely reasonable and excellent value. I could not fault the Hostal Santa Cruz. The Hostel is in the centre of Santa Cruz - perfect location with very helpful and friendly staff. Our minimalistic room was perfect - clean and functional. Seville now ranks as one of my top 5 cities - full of history and character. A very relaxed city but full of life too. So many things to see and do and so many places to eat drink and be merry - this was our first visit but certainly not our last!. Everything was great! We'll definitely choose the same place to stay when we come to Sevilla again. A cozy little hotel on a perfect location, very close to the Cathedral and the very mid center, still in a quiet street next to the lovely square. The girls at reception were incredibly kind, giving a 15 minutes overview of touristic info when arrived. The hotel is simple but well maintained, with an eye on details and cleanliness. Location was great and really central for the Barrio Santa Cruz. We were upgraded to a larger room in their Annex which was the former home of Maria Pages, a famous Flamenco dancer and very picturesque. A receptionist told us of an inexpensive parking lot nearby which saved us 20 euros a day. Front desk employees at at Hostal Plaza Santa Cruz are delightful. They provided a lot of information about Seville and even went the extra mile to give advice about what to see in other cities during my trip. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends visiting Seville. Everything, This is an amazing little hotel. The lady on reception, Lydia, was so pleasant and helpful, showing shopping areas, sight seeing, resturants etc. The room was basic but very comfortable and clean. 5 minutes stoll to the cathedral and right beside a beautiful little plaza. Good value of money and excellent staff, can't recall her name but I was intending to go hospital during my stay and she organized totally awesome job with a clinic, pharmaceutical,doctor ..as I don't speak Spanish at all. Our double room was very comfortable and clean but the room window was small, way above eye height and looked directly onto a brickwall. Other rooms looked onto the central courtyard where reception is situated. The website page shows a room with a balcony style window and this was the room type I had expected as the website details did not indicate otherwise. If I stayed here again I would ask for a room with a view, as pictured. Nothing. A bit dark and bit noisy room, but that's due to the old building. Since we used it for overnight and woke up relatively early for Spanish times, the noise of other guests wasn't disturbing at all. There was a feint 'sewerey' smell in the toilet area. The cold tap in one hand basin had been shut off because it couldn't be turned off. Breakfast options not particularly good, no black coffee, no fresh orange juice. The church bells!!. Nothing! I'll go back. Atrium rooms smelly (discharge) and humid due to lack of possibilities to air out. Very little space if traveling with luggage. No free Parking possibilities. There is no elevator. It was VERY loud on our side of the room. Our traveling companions had no problems with noise on their end fo the room but did have trouble with the stair cases. Pretty but very basic room, it lacked some furniture. Breakfast didn't look like a good deal... A bit to rich of a place to find your usual hostal vibe so depends on what you are looking for. nothing. The room was very small. The bathroom in room 27 is badly designed partly due to the small space. This meant that one side of the shower unit had no screen and was right next to the toilet. Whenever I had a shower the toilet and the floor around it would get covered in water. Motorcycles in the middle of the night. Very noisy the night we stayed there on the street. Minimal breakfast. The room was too small and the bathroom extremely small and humid. It was perfect. hard find with satnav. The window on the interior. Only one bright central light and no bedside lamps. Not even a print on the wall. Would not therefore spend more time in the room than necessary. Felt very basic but ok.
