  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through.   Location is very centralized, close to the Cathedral. It is minimalist and chic. But what is impressive is the super friendly staff. The evening staff at the reception, called Maria, is especially helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome with all the tips re Santiago. Would stay here again next time. The waitress was very friendly as well. - The hotel was faboulous, small and cosy, the receptionist was extremelly helpful and funny. She direct us to the resturant and make our stay special.   What can I say !! This is a beautiful little apartment overlooking Inmaculada Square. One could also see the Cathedral. We arrived at Plaza Do Obradoiro where I parked and Lavinia went off to find Ines the owner of the apartment.Ten minutes later she arrived with Ines in Ines' car. The location is perfect, behind of La Catedral de Compostela (the main church) and right in the middle of the old city, full of restaurants, souvenirs stores and bars. The room is very comfortable, like a small apartment with new facilities and a very good view. Ines, the hostess, is best friend you could have in your stay.
