  In the most beautiful setting in a small village at the top of a high hill with stunning views from our room. We walked up to the castle for 360 degree stunning views of the area, the castle was closed on Mondays but still worth go - The room was very clean and the views were brilliant.We liked the little extras,like the drinks and cakes in the fridge.Very thoughtful.It was a lovely little village with places of interest ie the castle and arabian baths. Julian was very helpful with information.(He did get the opening time for the castle wrong-it was 4.30pm not 4pm),so it was closed when we got up there. Fabulous views though.

  Most of the staff did not speak any English , though all were veryfriendly and did whatever they can to help , this hotel is a piece oftreasured history built in 1561 , you get first hand experience ofliving during the aristocratic times - the hotel has a very special atmosphere.   The hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful. Especialy when I found, what looked like a baby silverfish in the bed. The staff had the bed chnged immediately.The buffet breakfast was a plus also as there are no resturants readily available in the local area.   Amazingly good! Nice cute rooms, very clean with fridge, bathtub and fully furnitured, incredibly nice and friendly staff, great breakfast at a beautiful little terrace, free internet access there.
