  We enjoyed our stay in Suances. Good continental breakfast. The town was a little away from the hotel, but only 5 minutes by car.   The location is amazing. Perfect for surfers and people who love the beach as you can be on it within about 3 minutes of leaving your room. We stayed in a Duplex which was perfect for our family. The children slept on the sofa bed downstairs and we had a huge bed upstairs with great views and a balcony (only it was too cold to go out much). The swimming pool was not open but it was being developed and looked like it would be really good - El Caserio has a very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble, all the staff are well trained and chatty. It's also in a superb location at the top of some steps leading down to Los Locos beach and only a short distance to the larger Concha beach. It's about 1/2 mile to a mile to walk to the cafes and restaurants at Suances beach in the evening, but we enjoyed the walk, as everyone goes for a stroll from 9pm onwards.

  Carmen and her family are very sweet and they have a gorgeous property. She and her husband worked hard to make the renovations! Perfect location to the gorgeous medieval town and near the Altamira cave (replicas/museum). We drove past it as we arrived at night--can be hard to find, though we had GPS in the car.
