This place is Perfect for visiting Madrid! The owner - Rufinio, that the man that is very helpful and attintive to your demands. We rented 1 room with large bed and shower for our stay in Madrid. The place is clean and cozy, everything is working in the room (internet, tv, air-con, shower etc.). Location is very close to everything (Museums, shops, foods, attractions)! If not the size of room I would say it's a 3 star hotel:) Definitely will be back to that one and of cause recommended! Thank y.
所有评语 » The room was great. When we booked, we got a double with a shared toilette. We were surprised when there was a shower and sink in our room just not the toilette. The room was big, clean, and there was a cleaning service everyday. Also the place is very secure, we had a safe in the room and three separate locked doors(the front door of the building, the door into the hostel, then our room door). Hostal Jaen is clean, well maintained and inexpensive though a touch compact, but that was fine because we were out most of the time. Excellent walking location to all museums (Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofia), Plaza Mayor etc. In Bourbon Madrid and very close to great eating out. Would stay again. Wifi. Attentive staff. Good little ensuite shower & washbasin. Room was quiet late at night and early morning despite central location. Very convenient location for central Madrid. Lively street life (restaurants, bars) not far away. Manager let me leave luggage after checkout. The location was perfect, an easy walk to two of the three top museums and just two metro stops from the train station. In a lively neighborhood, but on a quiet street. Excellent restaurants nearby. The hostal owners are very kind and friendly. Nicely located family run hotel. Great value for money. Very clean and lots of cupboard space. Couldn't hear any noise from the streets (just some next door neighbours, but nothing too loud or late). Would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay we had everything we needed! The location was excellent close to all the attractions. It was a great neighborhood with fantastic shops and great places to eat! I would definitely stay there again!. central location, neighbourhood felt safe and handy for shops, cafes etc. very clean and room had all I needed in it friendly and helpful owners, I didn't mind the fact they did not speak english as i can get by in spanish. Fabulous location in Las Letras part of Madrid -- lots of restaurants and shops near by, and minimal traffic. Lovely bright colors in the rooms. Shower stall in room. Very helpful owners/staff. - Ideal central location, halfway between Sol and Prado, on a quiet street - Spotlessly clean - Air conditioning - Price! - Hosts were very accommodating. Fine place, great location. Room was very small but had everything we needed. Good reading light, nice gizmo on bed which told time and room temp. I liked the staff, and the facilities were great. There is a small sign sticking out of the third floor of the building, but not much else. Fridge and tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice. No English channels on TV. Noisy function at hotel nearby on Saturday night but it went quiet after midnight as promised. Nothing :). some noise from neighbouring restaurant and through walls of room. Minor inconvenience: walls are thin, so one hears happenings in the neighboring room. - Very small room, but I knew that when I booked. - Hosts speak very little English, but my wife's Spanish helped. Nothing. I stayed there for two nights and it was pretty cold. The temperature inside was 15 C. Bar across street a bit loud at times. the staff can hardly speak any english, they are friendly and happy to help but its hard to communicate. Thin walls. Bring ear plugs. Bed was a bit uncomfortable One pillow between two. No real sign on street to identify hostal. Knew this before booking, small rooms. Walls thin and could hear conversation next room. Ok but not at 3 in the morning. If street was busy it was noisey even tho all accomodation is on the 3rd floor. - Paper-thin walls - heard everyone else going to the toilet, coughing and having sex - Small room - No coffee / other facilities - No international tv channels, but that wasn't such a problem. Noisy.
