The apartment was neat and very well located, near the avenue of La Gran Via and just footsteps away from La Puerta de Sol, the street Hortaleza is very alive, many kind of stores are near the aparment, even a little, but very practical, convenience store where you can pack up with stuff to cook. The kitchen and washing machines are great. Recommended. Great value for money.
The location was wonderful and even though the staff didn't know any English, we didn't have any trouble checking in. We stayed in the family apartment with a private bathroom and there was plenty of space to move around. No crowding. The kitchenette was really helpful for keeping cold drinks and making oatmeal in the morning. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.所有 评语 »
Very good hostel. We got more than expected. Two small rooms: one for two persons and another - for one. Bathroom. We even had a kitchen with oven, toaster and all dinnerware. The only thing we hadn't - iron. But for such a low price we didn't suffer it :) Hostel is not far from Puerta del sol (5-10 minutes).
It had the perfect location near Gran Via in a street filled with stores and restaurants. The check in process was easy and fast and the staff is really nice to let you store your bags before check in. It has anything you need to be comfortable.
Clean, cheap and excellent location - couldn't ask for anything more. They also let us check in way before the usual check in time as we requested. Fantastic staff too would recommend to anyone.

2 bed apartment had no lounge to relax in, just 2 rooms with beds. No maid service therefore no clean towels for 5 nights! The beds are uncomfortable and urgently need new mattress' as the springs dig into your back. The washing machine doesn't work in the kitchen. The lift is old fashioned and I would doubt meets safety standards as a small child can put their fingers through the safety doors.
The only advantage of the apartments is the location.

The shower: the fact that it was tiny wasn't an issue but the curtain didn't hold back any water. So water got everywhere! A few people in the group thought the beds were uncomfortable but I slept great.
Wifi was week, though I suppose it's a usual problem for all hostels.

A bit noisy during early hours, but the earplugs did the trick.

The apartment was extreamly dirty. The sower was not working properly. Beds were kind of removable and too narrow and uncomfortble. The smell of mould didn't disappear even after opening the windows.
The most unpleastant surprise were the bugs we usually find in the beds.
Stuff doesn't speak English.
No matter in the reservation it is said they will charge you for one night, they withdrawned the whole amount the day after the reservation was done.
There is no air condition!!! Only two old vents. So it was horribly hot
in the night. Also due to open windows in was very noisy. The apartment
was pretty poor and old. The Wi-Fi was weak. The water heater was very
small, so the was no hot water to take a shower in the second turn.
