  We arrived after reception had closed but found the instructions, received by email ,very easy to follow so had no problem entering the apartment. A short walk gets you to the nearest metro station which is Urgell and from there - The reception staff were exceptional in their help and efficiency. Overall the cleanliness and functionality of the apartment was the best I have stayed in to date in Barcelona (and I have stayed in approximately 8 other apartments in the city). Location wise this was perfect, not noisy and convenient for many of the attractions if that is what people require. However, the plethora of nearby drinking and eating establishments will keep the weary traveller fed and watered from a limited budget t

  Rooms are built within an appartement building giving you the feeling of having your own city loft. We had room 4 with a spacious patio overlooking the university building. Beautiful combination of old tile floors with authentic design. The area surroundin - Very warm welcome from Carlos which continued throughout our stay-couldnt have been more helpful. Room was a small Eco only but perfect for our two night stay as not needing a room to spend time in other than as a base. Wonderful bed and best sleep I've had for ages in hotel room (travel a lot with work). Great large shower- rain effect and seperate hand held.
