  Location was excellent in a quiet residential area of the City yet only a few minutes from the Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, la Sagrada, La Pedrera and the upmarket shops along Ave Diagonal. The Filipino chap on reception went out of his way to assist us, especially on the last morning when - I liked the location, only a couple of blocks from Las Ramblas Catalunia, in walking distance to the Gaudi homes he built, walking distance to the Plaza Catalunia, the shopping district, restaurants all around this location, and the cute little street we were on. Could sit outside on a bench right in front of the facility. The apartments are modern. The breakfast was very good with lots of options of breads, cereals, fruits, cheeses, had orange juice and coffee.

The people who work and stay here are wo - I rented the quadruple room for myself, my college-age daughter and her friend. The room was very comfortable with a double bed for myself and bunk-beds for the girls. It was all very clean and comfortable, with a cute wrought iron balcony (very Barcelona), shared bathroom/shower facilities. The whole hostel is quite roomy, with plenty of bathrooms and a cute kitchen. The staff is wonderful. Location is perfect, less touristy but quite close to tourist spots, a short walk to the Metro.
