  As it was my 30th a group of 8 of us decided on a trip to Barcelona and I came across the Serennia Apartments which I booked. I was extremely happy with my choice as were the group who I came with. Special mention also of Albert who ran the building...very nice fella who spoke perfect English and who was very help - Albert was very helpful and informative, we had a slight problem on our first night with the occupants in the two apartments above coming in drunk at different times and ringing our door bell. We were not very happy, but Albert spoke to them and we didn't here them for the rest of our stay. The apartment was very well situated for what we wanted, Las Ramblas and Camp Nou. It was nice to come back to a comfortable apartment at the end of a long day out walking.

  A fantastic modern apartment in an old beautiful prestigious baroque old building. This apartment is fabulous as the staff was very helpful and very kind : Jordi & Rafa. We loved loved loved Barcelona, and the accommodation contributed a lot to that great experience.

  From the minute you enter the hotel you already feel something is different. Then, when you get to your room you understand how different it is. The lobby includes the front desk with staff that was always willing to help and give useful advice. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

  It was great. As the price was very good I didnt expect a lot but then I was really surprised about this wonderful place. It is not the typical hotel or hostel you may know it is more like a big flat with several rooms. Some of them have an own bathroom for the rest there is one shared bathroom.   We loved our room, which was modern, spacious & stylishly appointed. Everything that we could want was there. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We ate in the Tapas bar on one night of our stay & had a very good meal. We did not think it was overpriced. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel & are looking forward to returning - Rooms were stylish and well set out and in a building with beautiful architectural features. Concierge staff were particularly good and helpful and booked a few outings for us. The hotel however could have a stand to show what they offer in this respect to make more profit.
