It's within walking distance from Catalunya square (where a bus runs from the airport every 10-20 minutes for only about 6 euro a person) and the staff are beyond excellent.   My friends and I really liked Casa Consell and liked it the most of all places we stayed during our two week trip thruout Europe. Stewart and staff helped us with our daily activities and getting - We are received with warm welcome to this charming hostel with excellent staffs. Everywhere was really clean and well-organized. Staffs are always for us to help. In our room, we had even patio which enjoyed a lot sitting out. We expected more of the noise from the streets, but it was really quiet. Kitchen facility was also very nice and clean when we cooked one evening and prepared extra things during breakfast as well. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will definitely come back!!!

  Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. - I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.
