loved it all,staff fantastic ,environment lovely everyone was so helpful and friendly easy to get round the city, room... super pillows, linen bed very comfortable would go there again ,they made us feel special and valued and couldnt be happier with the time we spent there, tapas and wine complimentary chocolates and weather forecast each day ..nice touch all great thankyou. - Warm welcome,n overall excellen quality of service. Staff always smiling and anticipating any needs. - Gorgeous refurbished old stones with the right balance of modern touch. - Fine cooking, tastefull tapas in one restaurant, inovative dishes in the other, genuine fresh local products. - A silent area in the middle of the Bari Gotic, amazing !.
所有评语 » The Mercer is a jewel nested just a stone throw away from Barcelona's nerve center,the Placa Catalunya.It has all the ingredients of a magnificent hotel with superb accommodation.There is no doubt in my mind the Mercer has the most affable,the most attentive and above all the most efficient staff one may ever wish to meet. Lovely room (we were upgraded when they front desk noted it was my birthday on may passport). Perfect location, very helpful concierge in getting us a tough dinner reservation. Great rooftop deck for afternoon relaxing and a cocktail. Would stay here again and recommend to friends. loved everything-from the relaxing breakfast in the morning room. the bird chirping. Wonderful attentive staff that could not do enough. starting with remebering your name the moment you walked in the door. Loved the concierge-professional polite everything you could ask for. A wonderful hotel! Really fantastic location in heart of Gothic quarter, but very quite, very modern, luxury feeling, nice decor, delicious food, good wine list, kind knowledgable staff is happy to help with everything. Really good value for money. Fantastic location and incredible level of service. The rooms are truly luxurious and the staff extremely friendly and happy to do anything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. staff amazingly helpful and pleasant to work with. we have a teenager and a small child and the hotel was great for both. the beds are soooo comfortable and the food in the restaurant, delicious. all around, a great hotel!. It's a wonderful monumental hotel, a jewel in the Gotic quarter of barcelona. Great and quiet location. Awesome architecture and ambiance. The food restaurant it's also fantastic. The staff it's just awesome. The staff was amazing and went out of there way to help us. The location is very central and in a good area for eating at restaurants and for shopping with easy walking distance to most sights. Wunderful architecture and interior desig, top quality materials and FF&E (furniture, fittings and equipments). Location is excellent, and we really appreciated the privacy of the hotel. Fantastic location to explore the Gothic part of Barcelona. the hotel is perfectly situated near all the shops but out of the noisy areas. the room was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. Well-appointed, centrally located, attentive staff, and oh so quiet. Everything. Nothing !!!. Nothing. Everything was excellent !. we wanted to stay more days. The bathroom was open and felt like it was in the bedroom, a very modern concept but not for us. We felt that the room was a little overcharged taking into account that we had booked a superior room, but it faced a small courtyard with a wall covered with plants. The room was beautiful and we would not have minded the courtyard view either...if it had been a standard room. We thought hard about this and can't find anything!. Couldn't find anything to dislike. Would have been nice to offer breakfast inclusive!. Smoking allowed inside the building. Tricky to find if driving Nothing else negative. stuff still needs to learn about cleaning and serving the room . For four days the ashtray on a balcony was left un cleaned. The mini bar we had was never refreshed for 4 days as well . I understand that this things will be fixed so my opinion is still that this hotel is worth every euro you spend on it!. It was all good. no minibar. Disappointing that pool was closed for use at 6pm, very early in mid summer would have been nice to be able to lounge by it for at least another hour or so before it just became a bar area. Service a bit erratic at breakfast. Found breakfasts a little expensive. Nothing. the room was too dark needrd more lights!!. The breakfast. It would be better if it were a fixed price self-service breakfast, not à la carte like it is.
