The hotel was very centrally located within a few minutes walking distance of busy las ramblas & close to many restaurants & a supermarket. The apartment room was large & spacious to accommodate my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The bathroom was very spacious as well & the kitchenette was well equipped. Wifi connection was fast & multiple users could use it simultaneously. Hot water shower was very good. Hotel reception staff were exceptional eg Aritz, Manuel & Zavi.
所有评语 » Lovely location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but in a small side street so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are lovely with the exposed wall and slate tiled bathrooms. Staff were really helpful and recommended places to eat and go see, and generally very friendly and attentive. Fantastic location near all the bars and restaurants, and about 5-7 min walk to the food market, and tube (metro) station. We didn't use the swimming pool as we went in March (still too cold) but it did look tiny. I shared a beautiful room with my girlfriend .... and we loved the hotel and staff so much we would definitely stay there again should we visit Barcelona again ... also we have already recommended it to all our friends and family members ... I especially appreciated the night manager who was so v helpful with information. I travel a lot so I know excellent service when I see it! This hotel made my stay in Barcelona a memorable and happy one! Sylvia Severi. Very new rooms with great design and floor plan. Well equiped. The beds were fabulous. After traveling Europe for 20 days this had the best bed of all places we stayed. Very friendly staff who were also very helpful.Close enough yet far enough from the craziness of Las Ramblas. I would not advise staying too close to Las Ramblas. It is nice to walk, people watch, while you are holding your wallet, but nice to get away from. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful. The staff could not have been more helpful. Because we did not have a room on the outside of the building we did not have a noise problem. As to wifi - we encountered the practice of obtaining daily user names and passwords a common practice in Catalonia and even in a hotel in Paris. staff was fantastic - very helpful and friendly. had a situation where I had to make a call to the US and an employee offered their phone to make the call since I could not use the room phone. This was the best treatment I have ever received in the 30+ years of business and vacation travel in Europe and North America. Room design was great, loved the high ceilings, two window/balconies and spacious room. Bathroom was beautiful. Loved having stairs to use that were "front of house" and terrace was nice for views, but never actually stayed up there. Appreciate the safe and the dining area. Thank goodness for the BBC station. We don't know from where to start.. The Location, atmosphere, personal attention of the staff.. Everything is new in this hotel! we slept in this hotel for six days at the end of May 2013 and it was heaven for us! Usually we don't write comments but this place is made our vacation to something else. Thank's!. Room was excellent......even for a family. Facilities were as good as I've came across anywhere. Location brilliant for promenade and city stroll. As close as you will get to everything you want. Staff were the most courteous I've encountered while on holidays. Could not fault this hotel. Loved it. The hotel was very clean, modern and spacious. I was located in an excellent part of the Barri Gotic. It was located on a small square, but it was quite peaceful and away from the overwhelming crowds of La Rambla. The service was excellent and the reception was quiet helpful. Highly recommended. The hotel was in a nice, central location with lots of good restaurants and shopping close by. It felt luxurious from the moment you enter the building and the room, as well as the bathroom were very comfortable and large. The staff were were always professional and courteous. Very helpful, very polite staff, their restaurant suggestions were good. They also helped us to book advance tickets for the Sagrada familia to avoid the queues (an excellent call as the queue was massive). great central location but very quiet, would recommend this accomodation. Really 4+ star hotel. All new furniture and other items because it was opened few weeks ago. Even we had private couryard patio 2*2 m for smoaking (room 22). Amable personal helped to find any info we asked. Small nice pool on the top floor but we do not use it because of march. We thought that the adaptation of the building, combining the old parts of the building and the contemporary comforts was excellent and elegant. The situation is excellent The staff was friendly and very helpful. Staying at Arai 4 Monument enhanced our visit to Barcelona. Friendley and helpful staff, excellent location for beach, la Ramblas, rooms are excellent and kept very clean and tidy by staff. I went with 2 children aged 6 & 2 and it suited perfectly. Would recommend and I have been to Barcelona several times. The room and ambience were superb! We stay in mostly luxury hotels and this one did not dissapoint. Bed was super comfy, spacious for Europe and it had most of what we needed. The design elements were beautiful- online photos are for real. Fantastic design , attention to detail was fantastic. Staff really helpful and friendly and professional. Superb location. quiet. Everything worked well and was so well thought out. So many extras in terms of decor and extra comforts. Very charming and special hotel; the restauration of the house has been done very succesfully with the original mingled with new. Very friendly and helpful staff. Although it was an apartment hotel, there was no kettle which was rather odd (but we stayed at another hotel that didn't have a kettle either, so maybe this is the custom in Barcelona?). No complementary tea or coffee either, which I come to expect from this standard of hotel, but still loved the place and would definitely come back. The wifi was not great .. I could not access any mail in or out because I have Apple products ..iPad and iPhone ... also you only got 24 hr use at a time and then had to enter a lengthy PW. No reading light beside bed .. no room in bathroom to place toiletries. But it's a new hotel and these are just glitches in an otherwise perfect place to stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. You should remove from your website the description of free street parking. It is virtually impossible to drive to the hotel itself, and your map is totally unhelpful. The directions we got told us that we could drive to the hotel from the Rambla and that isn't possible. We ended up paying $40 per day at a garage that was a few blocks away. One should plan carefully if taking a car into Barcelona. Hair dryer was a bit low on output. Having to get daily wi-fi passwords rather than one for the stay (3 days). Nothing. Personally, this hotel was perfect for our needs. The rooftop deck should be more comfortable and open past 11 PM. nothing to dislike. Free wi-fi is limited so that I coudn't visit sites of my country. For that need to pay extra. Everyday changing wi-fi password is boring. So we didn't use it at all. The balcon looks to the nice square, but every night there loud gitar songs until 4 a.m. and drugs market. The noise in the street kept us up all night until 5am every night- despite brick walls and Euroline doors it was very painful and kind of ruined our trip. Unfortunately, I think because the laws allow for noisy drunken people in the street all night long there is a lot of this all over Barcelona in other Hotels as well. Also the "free" wifi is only for one person and you need to go to the front desk every day and get a new code- a pain in the neck to wait behind a line for that!. coming home. Maybe it could have been nicer with another material of the cupboard doors. Nothing ! It's a great beautiful new hotel. We lived it. I shared the otherwise nice apartment (deckared in max for 4 persons) with husband and my two adult children and there was not too space for us. Also the internet was not too fast.... Needed shelving in bathroom to place toiletries. Bedside "stools" very small to place things on. Lift up table but no seating?. Minor issues really. Overall was excellent. N/A. Perhaps the kitchen area could have had a kettle and bigger mugs or cups. Fridge could have been defrosted. . not too sure about the location. . Didn't feel too safe but then again nowhere in Barcelona is safe anymore. The lack of instructions in the room on how to use any of the 'gadgets' including Smart TV, Telephone, Induction hob and coffee machine, (although staff were available to help). Good soundproofing from external noises, but not very good internally (could hear other guests slamming doors, talking loudly etc in the middle of the night). A little noisy as situated next to one of Barcelona's notorious night-life squares. However windows double glazed which when shut removed any disturbance. Would have been nice to add an iPod dock in room so we could play our own sounds. Gym could do with some heavier free weights or a bench as current max of 5kg not quite pushing it!. No faults regarding hotel. Only negative point was that as our room faced the front of the hotel, could be a little noisy at night due to the location. Appreciate this is no fault of the hotel and it didn't effect our stay. Lack of usable work surfaces in bedroom. No desk and bedside tables too small and unstable. Wooden spoon helpful to stir ingredients in metal pan. No tea making facility in room - really needs a kettle. No tea sized cups. No sugar or ice in room. These were very minor quibbles. Would stay in this hotel again glady. A bit noisy at night in the street outside. This is not a resort type hotel, don't expect much from the pool.It is more an art-house hotel, and as such, there was nothing not to like about it. Nothing. The bathroom door!......needs to be altered to a sliding door. Location fine for me but coudl see some people being intimidated by groups of people around the hotel at night. No breakfast room available yet. Will be opened early next year. Square opposite to hotel is bit noisy and with strange characters. A little bit more information in the room. e.g. how to operate cooker, coffee maker, also a docking station - a must have. Noise at night in square below. Toilet flush was difficult, especially for females...almost impossible if you have long nails.
